I use Google Scholar to look for court cases. For some reason, for the last few months the options at the bottom of the search box have been as shown in the extended area. It used to be that the last entry would be "Michigan courts," as that is where I live. But the choice now is always "California courts." Even if I take the several (annoying) steps needed to select Michigan courts, it defaults back to California courts the next time. Does anyone know how this behavior can be changed? [more inside]
This is a link to a very widely read legal weblog. I have not been able to get access to it for a week. Is it down everywhere or just in my area?
What is it about some web sites that makes it very difficult to select and copy text? [more inside]
See http://www.professorbainbridge.com/2005/04/whats_drudge_up.html for the question. He is getting a report of a Jabber Trojan when visiting the Drudge site. Any insight here?
