Whenever I watch .mov files now (like these: 1, 2, 3), I get small, vertical colored bars that randomly pop into the video, then fade after a few seconds. I also get this on old .mov files on my computer that didn't have it before I installed the newest version of quicktime. What's up with that?

I am interested in using Digimarc watermarks to track images across the web. Does anyone have an opinion on their MarcSpider tracking engine? Are there alternative techniques/technology? [more inside]

I'm involved with a "currently in post-production" motion picture. I've got a MPEG of the film (although I can convert to any needed format), and need to overlay a text copyright notice over the entire film so that its visible at the top or bottom of the screen. Can anyone suggest tools for doing this under OS X? [more inside]
