Star Wars: “IV, V, VI, I, II, III” or “I, II, III, IV, V, VI”? If you’ve never seen any of the movies, how would you like to be introduced to them? Better question would be this: how should a person be introduced to them? 1st world issue details inside. [more inside]

I'm organizing a Star Wars themed spelling bee. I need as many hard to spell Star Wars words as possible. They can be nouns, etc. It's a fun event, and we are not following strict rules about it. Already have "Kashyyyk" and "Sarlaac" and "wookiee".

I saw the Star Wars prequels, over the six-year timespan that it took to make them. They were... OK. But I never went forward again to seriously re-watch IV V and VI with new insights I gained from the prequels. What did I miss? [more inside]

I need more info (links or book recs) about draft dodges and other similar happenings throughout history and the world (i.e. people relocating to avoid participating in a war). Sources about the Viet Nam draft dodge are great, though I'd rather also have sources about other happenings.

My mother spends a good deal of her day playing Mafia Wars and has accumulated hundreds of people she doesn't know on Facebook through the game. She is definitely not street savvy or tech savvy in any way and I'm worried that she may be taken advantage of. I don't play Mafia Wars, but I just don't trust that its taken up such a large part of her life right now. Is it just a way for her to pass the time? Or do I need to be concerned?

Looking for good books/resources about the 17th century Anglo-Dutch maritime wars. For a project I'm doing, I'd like to get more historical detail about what the Dutch call the English Wars and what the English call the Dutch wars. While I am interested in the specific facts, I'm more interested in getting a sense of time and place, both for those who were at sea and for those at home in the two countries. Do you know any fascinating books (non-fiction or historical fiction) that reference these events?

Star Wars Filter: Does the Emperor not foreseeing that Darth Vader would kill him mean that all Jedi have lost this force ability and that midichlorians leave the body after death and have evolved as they drifted with innumerable species by finding an athletic host who would benefit from incredible power?

Remember the SNL skit where Bill Murray's a lounge singer doing his own version of the Star Wars theme? I remember hearing a legit lounge act cover of this once - does anyone have any idea who it was by?

With the completion of the Star Wars sextology [sic], I was looking for recommendations of other science fiction/fantasy space operas. I just bought the Doc Smith's Lensman "prequel", Triplanetary, and his first Skylark book. Any other suggestions or comments on these (i.e. should I start with Galactic Patrol in the Lensman series? Read Skylark before Lensman)? Suggestions from across all media is welcome (Babylon 5, etc.).

There has to be a list somewhere of the U.S. theatres showing The Revenge of the Sith
in digital projection or IMAX, but I'm d*mned if my weak-ass google-fu can turn it up. Help me.... No. Must. Resist.
