I learned today that it's dangerous to store combustibles such as clothing near the fuse box or electrical intake. I keep my off-season wardrobe under the stairs, and the electrical intake/fuse box is also under the stairs. How far away do I need to keep this stuff? What is a safe distance?
Is it feasible to use compact-o-stuff vacuum bags to reduce the crowding in the understair cupboard?

Dear fashionable women of MeFi, what are 4-5 staple belts that I should have in my wardrobe? I've been upgrading my wardrobe and I need some belts but what are the must-have belts that should be part of any fashionable (or semi-fashionable) wardrobe?

A silly question: what "closet organizer/style manager" app for Android will allow me to easily take and store pictures of my actual outfit (ie. me wearing clothes), along with storing pictures of individual pieces from my wardrobe and their arrangements (ie. a "blueprint" for my outfit)?

I need a major rehabilitation of my wardrobe. I kinda know where to start, but I need any fashion help possible. Caveats: I'm a guy, I'm overweight, I have a limited budget for now, and I'm style-impaired.

I always wear/use leather in rain but they always tell me it's wrong for the material. This is a bit naive but I'm wondering what high quality good looking materials work for coats and bags in rain? I don't mean plastic or nylon looking stuff (although if they're technically the best I'd like to know) but more stylish.. let's say upto $1k/coat

Is it okay to construct a professional wardrobe from minor variations of the exact same outfit every day? I'm thinking same kind of white shirt and jeans daily, varying only my jacket.
