I love Home Organizing, House Keeping and Home decorating videos and blogs. I also like, food storage, prepping, growing your own food & homesteading blogs. Having them running really motivates me to get off the computer & get things done, unfortunately they seem to be predominately very Christian based, often have political leanings I don't agree with and seem to be more about organizing your life around your children and/or church. I need suggestions for YouTube channels & blogs on these subjects for the childless heathen. [more inside]
I was mindlessly scrolling through Instagram video-crack and came across a clip of two women who guerrilla-filmed a choreographed hip hop dance next to an airport baggage claim. And I guess I forgot to "like" it, because now it's gone, never to be found again. What I am looking for now is more videos of 2-6 people doing some kind of short choreographed hip hop dance in a well known place like an airport or a big box store aisle, someplace where it wasn't exactly illegal, but they had to do it quickly and move on. I have windows 8.1 and I have pictures and videos inside the picture library. When I go into the picture library I see photos and I also have videos and those video icons have arrows in the center of them to indicate to me that they are videos. I can't seem to figure out how to transfer those videos to a DVD disc. I have DVD+R discs. Thank you.
My friend copied another friends video to the icloud from an ipad. The video is of her mother's funeral. Now there is an 8 month gap lost in the video collection. And of course the funeral video is in that time frame. [more inside]
I am putting together a hybrid fiction/factual piece on Trump. Although there are many sites that collect his lies, his outrageous statements, etc. I am looking for those quotes that most define him. Particulars inside. [more inside]

I often assist with finding assets for executive presentations such as images, videos, and links. It would be great to organize these so they are easy to find and reuse. I'd prefer to do this with a simple, common set of tools such as Google apps or Dropbox. [more inside]
In 1977, Harvard's Hasty Pudding named Johnny Carson their Man of the Year, and hosted him on campus for a night as part of the ceremony. While there, Carson spoke in front of cameras, and made a remark about how much the award meant to him... because it had been ages since he had last had sex in a college dorm. It may have been while he was having breakfast the next morning. I know it's on video. I've seen it. But I can't find the clip. Can you?
I greatly enjoyed going through this post filled with amazing performances. I was also brought to tears while watching this video of Dee Gordon's home run - his first - after his close friend and teammate Jose Fernandez' tragic death this weekend. This lead me down the rabbit hole of great moments in sports that give me the feels - happy, sad, laughing, crying, amazement, etc. I need more. [more inside]
Hi all! My daughter (age 8) is a bit stuck on Cookie Swirl C, etc. While I am ok with her watching whatever to relax, I think it might be nice for her to watch something a bit more education, but still fun - covering cool stuff in biology, physics, chemistry but still in the light 'hey guys' type style. Besides HobbyKids, can anyone recommend any others? Thanks!
Let's say you have a friend who pulled a Walden for all of 2016 so far—went to a house in the woods, no internet, no TV, no phone. This friend is now returning to civilization and ready to see what he missed. What do you show him—videos, headlines, etc—that will help him understand what 2016 has been? [more inside]
My 3-year-old daughter loves the Nerdy Nummies YouTube channel. It's a baking show with a bubbly host who makes a different pop-culture themed treat every week. I like that she is watching a show about a real person making stuff (instead of yet another cartoon), and it even inspires us to do projects in real life. I am looking for recommendations for similar shows, but for other types of projects she would like, such as papercrafts or painting. [more inside]
My significant other likes taking pictures of her creations in the kitchen, and she'd like to branch out into video.I have a DSLR, but am unsure how to approach the lighting setup. [more inside]

I'm looking for a source of audio or video tapes with business/sales guru Don Beveridge. I checked a few of my local libraries but don't see anything there -- haven't talked to the actual librarians yet, but it seems like these may be fairly esoteric. [more inside]
Our three year old LOVES to say his letters and numbers. When he gets to Z, he triumphantly (and accurately) announces "and that's all the letters!" When he gets to 100 he proudly informs us, "that's all the numbers!" I've tried to tell him about 101, 102, etc., but he does not believe me. He would believe it if a YouTube video or app told him so. Any suggestions? (Yep, I know this is not a big deal. I just like watching the light bulb go on when he realizes just how big the world is.)

Hi everyone! Not looking to copy or plagiarize - but I am just getting ready to launch a YouTube channel and I don't know what software I'm going to use to edit videos or much about how to get going. I really like the type of introductions used by YouTuber Marzia. Do you know what tools she uses to make them? More in post. [more inside]
I'm looking for YouTube channels that are dedicated to providing education about or insight into interesting subjects. They can have humor in them, but I'd prefer for them to be primarily informative rather than humorous. [more inside]

I noticed a few days ago that when I started reading before bed the nightmares I've been having for the past few months became less exhausting. Now I've run out of reading material and would love recommendations for some quick reads/videos/etc that I could indulge in before bed and when I wake up in the morning so my mind stops fixating on bad stuff. Share with me your happy thoughts, please! [more inside]
My 10 year old niece and 7 year old nephew really like to watch music videos. The ones they love most are goofy, high energy, and have some type of underlying story. They are particularly into music that is danceable and visually they like bright colors and crazy costumes or interesting outfits. A few they have liked recently are Con Bro Chill and Meghan Trainor. Any suggestions for other artists they might like? [more inside]

My eight-year-old son is in Little League baseball for the first time. A lot of the what-to-do-when scenarios are mysteries to him. So we're looking for upbeat, fun videos about all aspects of defense — including knowing where to play for the outs, base coverage, relays, rundowns, and cutoffs — that we can watch so he can see the plays in action. Last night I came across the Brotherhood of Man musical number performed on the Drew Carey show, and realized it was the perfect video to snap me right out of a funk and make me want to dance around the house (particularly once the full ensemble gets going around 2 minutes in.) Now I want more! I'm looking for more videos of big, bombastic musical numbers that can't help but give me thrills and cheer me up with great dancing. The kind of song that gets even the most cynical person tapping their toes and smiling. Anything Goes is a great example of what I'm thinking of - I also can't resist a giant tap number. Think over the top with jazz hands. Everything a person who hates musical theater can't stand. Don't worry if they seem too obvious - I've only started enjoying musical theater a few years ago, so I've got plenty of catching up to do.
I'd like to show my toddler videos/tv shows/movies/books that include genuine affection - parents, families, friends all giving hugs or smiles or other close, positive interactions. Any good ideas? [more inside]
I've got more than 40 family home videos on VHS tapes that I want to convert to digital on my Windows 7 PC. I realize that I'm probably overthinking this but I want to do a good job. My goal is to capture the VHS tapes at the best possible quality for posterity, and for online viewing and maybe DVDs, too. At the same time I don't want to chase after rapidly diminishing returns, as VHS quality isn't the best to begin with. My problem is that I don't know where to draw the line. [more inside]

I like Jimmy DiResta's videos. I like to watch people build things. DiResta's videos are nice because they are short and fast paced. Many other people on YouTube seem slow and not very polished. I don't mind didactic at all, but pacing is important to me. Do you have suggestions for other people who build or make things who I might like? Subject matter unimportant.
And I don't think I'm going to be the target of hackers anytime soon. But I am in a long distance not-really-kind-of-maybe-relationship with someone where we would like some kind of means of sharing photos and videos of a personal and sometimes-but-not-always sexy nature with one another without running into email attachment limits, needing to jump through a lot of hoops, accidentally sharing anything with the wrong people on social media, etc. What's our best bet?
