Should I buy an xbox 360 to maximize my Rock Band experience (instead of getting the game for my Wii)? [more inside]

Recently I have been desiring a hand held gaming system (similar to a psp or a ds) that would allow me to just play my N64 Roms that I play on the computer. I do not need any extra features, just the ability to play legally owned ROMs with a hand held. Anybody have a solution? [more inside]

On one of the morning "news" shows (Today, GMA, one of those, don't remember which), a guest recently said that an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 will use just as much power turned off as it does when in use - that you have to physically unplug them to get them to stop draining the juice. The Wii, it was said, is fundamentally different, has some kinda internal widget that makes it more energy efficient. Any truth at all to this?

I read that there was a 'leaked' copy of the EB Games employee handbook floating around the web a few years back, and it explained in some great detail about how to talk to customers and to push really hard on getting people to pre-order and so on. Despite my best efforts, I can't get Google to show it to me. Does anyone have a link to it (or a saved copy they're able to send me)? Also, as a side question; why do
EB Games and similar video game retailers push so hard to try and get you to pre-order stuff? What's in it for them, other than a potential sale once the game is released?

I want some computer games that have high replayability, are relatively cheap (0-20$ CAD/USD), NOT need a CD to play, and most importantly, take up as little hard-drive space
and processor power as possible. Possible examples including good pieces of IF (especially mystery, who-killed-X ones), Fallout 2, Rogue-likes, games of the lightweight Boomshine/Peggle/Bejweled group, any RTS or turn-based strategy games, and anything by Nifflas. I'd love blogs that recommend good games, too. Any recommendations? [more inside]

I've been keeping track of pretty much all the xbox 360 games out there, but i am sure i missed some great games.
So, can you recommend some games that are lesser known? Also, games that got poor or average reviews, but are actually fun to play?

My sister loves
playing co-op shooters. Can you recommend any? Our systems are the PS2, and a PC running Windows XP that was middle-of-the-road 3-5 years ago (so no Army of Two, thank you). Freeware/shareware/indie are great, but so are huge blockbusters. It just needs to have as long, good, co-op section.
