The spouse and I are looking for ways to get more exercise, and we would like to find some video games that will serve this purpose. [more inside]
I play video games pretty casually (maybe 2-3 a year) and I'm in the mood to play one now, but I can't think of anything!! I've been browsing gaming websites and I'm having trouble finding anything that appeals to me. I typically enjoy sandbox-y/first person shooters and I'm not too picky about genre (crime, sci-fi, etc.), I care a lot more about the plot and characters. [more inside]
For years, I've lived by an absolutely inflexible rule: I will play only one console video game at a time until I beat it. I'm about to finish Deus Ex: Human Revolution on the 360, and my next game will be either Skyrim or Batman: Arkham City. Each is well-reviewed--which one should I play first? Heavy weight is given to freedom/non-linear gameplay and short load times. Again, this is on the 360. [more inside]
What's the latest and greatest in party-style competitive or cooperative (ideally four player or even more) videogames? Our current selection is a little bit long in the tooth and I'm wondering if there's something I should be purchasing or downloading to freshen things up for this weekend. [more inside]

I'm still trying to connect my upcoming XBOX 360 to my computer monitor. The monitor has only VGA and DVI-D inputs and no audio output, however, so I'm having issues tracking down what needs to be done. Currently I'm fairly sure I've got what I need for video, but I still need help figuring out how to connect audio. [more inside]
I'm getting an XBOX 360 shortly, but I have a few questions about setting it up. For one, my television is very bad, so I'd like to use my computer monitor for it - should picking up a VGA cable be fine? Secondly, I'm not sure how the XBOX's audio ports are set up - can I just plug my headset with a standard headphone and microphone plug into it, or do I need adapters? [more inside]

I just got an Xbox 360. I'm not the biggest fan of first-person shooters, Grand Theft Auto, and pseudo-instrument games like Guitar Hero, but I do love novel, esoteric games. What are some of the unsung heroes in the XB360 library that I should invest in? [more inside]

Is there a site that tells me which version of multiplatform (ps3/xbox360) games is the better one to get with regard to bugginess/availability of DLC etc.? I know that I can go look up individual reviews for specific title/platform combinations, but is there a specialist site that tracks the differences in a more at-a-glance manner?

I want to play Bully: Scholarship Edition on my Xbox 360. There was just a patch released for the game, but my console is not hooked up to the internet and never will be. How (and when) can I know that the physical copy of the game I buy is a post-patch version?
This is probably a dumb question to which I already know the answer, but: is it at all possible to transfer an NHL 08 (EA) season from an Xbox 360 to a Playstation3?

I recently purchased an HDTV (Vizio VX37L 37" LCD; 768p) and an Xbox 360 (Elite); am I getting the image quality I should be getting? Specifically, there seems to be far less antialiasing going on than I'd expect; "jaggies" are obvious from across the room. The 360 is connected to the TV via HDMI, and the 360 is outputting 720p.
