I'm about to buy a Dell 2405FPW LCD. The max resolution is 1920x1200, and it's got D-SUB and DVI inputs. I'm going to have to buy a new video card. What are the advantages of each connection, and what video card features should I be looking for? [more inside]

The external monitor plug on my laptpop (Toshiba Staellite 1700, XP, about 2 years old) has stopped working. Are there work-arounds to get display to a data projector/external monitor? (more displayed inside). [more inside]

YellowColoredMonitorFilter: Something in my PC broke, and now everything's a yucky yellow tint. Anyone have this experience, and if so, how did you solve it? Google turns up one search that blames it on the monitor, but I'm praying it's the video card, or a short in a cord. File this also under ICan'tAffordAWholeNewFreakinMonitorFilter. [more inside]

Two video cards, one desktop: If I take a video card from an old desktop and install it in a new desktop how much BIOS/system customizing do I have to do? I'm purchasing a new desktop today - a cheapo eMachine and was hoping to get a second LCD panel as well. Or is it easiest to just buy a new video card that supports two video outputs (any recommendations)?
