I need help with getting my iPhone videos (home videos, all 2 minutes or less) to upload to Flickr - ideally using their app, but open to other ways as well. Why can't I do it? [more inside]

Hi - in a pinch, I need to use my iPhone to feed live video to a projector.
I have a VGA adapter, so I can mirror my camera, but I can't feed "clean" video without all the on-screen camera controls, etc.
I feel like the answer is easy, but I'm flummoxed. Is there an app or way to get just plain camera output without the controls?

For my job I need to make a short video that graphically illustrates an iPhone app and its functionality. Are there any tools or sites out there that can let me do this as nicely as possible? I'm thinking of something similar to App.io except I need something more automated and presentable. Something like a Powerpoint presentation except for an app with text and animations/video.

Iphone 4S, ios7. Videos app screen now shows videos as thumbnails, but I want my list view back. How can I switch the title view back to a simple list? Thanks.

I have an extreme aversion to video chatting. I'm not looking to AskMeFi to fix that. I'm just looking for help in: 1. setting my iPhone 4 so I'm not invitable to FaceTime (it's too easy to accidentally hit the "accept/answer" button), optimally while maintaining the ability to invite others (in case of some sort of emergency need), and 2. figuring out how to make audio-only Skype calls (incoming and outgoing) using my iPhone's SKype or Skype-WI-FI app. [more inside]

My Google-Fu has failed me. Help me remember the name of an iPhone restaurant app that produced a clever single take demo video in front of a large pool. [more inside]

I want to use my iPhone 4s to film a 15-30 minute event, indoors, just three people talking, dark-ish lighting. It doesn’t have to be perfect – this is for personal use, not commercial. What’s the best way to go about it? [more inside]

What are iOS apps like Snapseed
, but for video — to add basic effects and color correct videos shot with iPad, iPhone? VideoFX Live
doesn't do the job because it only allows shooting new videos, not edit existing.

I'm trying to make a video of a road trip with my iPhone 4. But the camera keeps focusing on the windshield, rather than on the unfolding landscape.

How can I organize all of these video clips from different sources (Flip cam, iPhone cam, etc) into some kind of database to make it usable? [more inside]

I have to shoot a quick, five-minute video that's basically a vlog: just me talking into the camera. To film it, I can use either a built-in iSight camera on a 2008 pre-unibody MacBook Pro, or an iPhone 4. Which one would be the better choice? Yeah, I'm aware it's not going to look cinematic with either one, but I want to look as decent as I can within reason. [more inside]

I have been taking video with my iPhone 4 recently, but it's been windy so I get a lot of wind noise. What's the best way to go about reducing the wind noise, and/or how can I make a microphone cover/windscreen for the iPhone 4?

How can I get a video loop to play continuously on an iPhone 3GS and an iPod Touch? They don't need to be in synch. [more inside]

I have a Mac Mini that I'm using as a media center running Plex. I want to be able to watch the media stored there (a couple terabytes of AVIs, MP4s, etc...) from anywhere I am, on a laptop or hopefully even on my iPhone. Is there any hardware/software solution that will help with this? [more inside]

I have a substantial amount of anime that I'd like to watch, but a less-than-perfect system for doing it. Pretty much all of it is in .mkv files (h.264 video and AAC audio) with subtitles, and I'd like to transcode them to a format that's playable on either my iPhone or my PS3 with subtitles intact. I've tried both handbrake and VLC, and I either get 1) no subtitles in handbrake or 2) encoder errors in VLC. So, hive mind, what am I doing wrong here?
