We are going camping this summer though upper New York state, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. 2 adults, 1 senior citizen, 1 small, well-behaved dog. We are looking for dog-friendly campgrounds that might also have a cabin option. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of moving from seattle, going out east. My initial thoughts are of Burlington Vermont, but my company also has a branch in Buffalo New York. Can anyone give me an idea of what the cities are like/have to offer? I also work as an EMT (any idea on the EMS services in those areas?) and will be going on to be an RN. So ideas on decent school options/length of residency?

I'm driving to Vermont in a few weeks. I'll reach the NYC area around noon on a Saturday. I usually take the NJ Turnpike to the last exit at Ft. Lee, hit the Ft. Lee Starbucks and then the Palisades Parkway to the Tappen Zee, Saw Mill to 684, 684 to 84 to 91.
This does not work spectacularly well, but I've always figured it was as good as any. But maybe it isn't.

Can anyone help me find demographics for New York and Vermont in and around 1936. Specifically, I'm interested in the racial makeup on both states and especially in New York City. The census website confuses me a little, does anyone know a good link or reference for this specific, query?
