I'm looking for suggestions for an outdoor reception and dinner venue in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. I've already contacted the Andaz hotel, the W hotel and the Hard Rock hotel, and think these are potentially great choices, but I'm wondering if there are any other options I should explore.

NEED A WEDDING SPOT IN BOCA RATON, FLORIDA: Hi there! My fiance and I are planning to get married in early June in or around Boca Raton, Florida. We are looking for a venue (for both the ceremony and the reception) that is indoors (i.e., air conditioned) but that has windows/a view of the outdoors, and can fit 150-200 people. Can be anywhere within a half hour drive of Boca Raton (e.g., Deerfield Beach, Boca Del Mar, etc.). We have searched the Internet with little luck (and the Japanese Gardens are too small). Help!

What are some good restaurant/bar venues in DC to host a medium-sized reception in mid-October? It's for a low-key wedding reception for friends. I have a dilemma regarding wedding venue. Months ago, I decided on a wedding venue, mom put down the deposit, the end. I am in the south and both the church and the reception were downtown historic buildings, very ritzy and high-class looking--what I envisioned a wedding should be.
The rub is about a month ago, my aunt volunteered to help with the decorations, we bring her buy the place, and she starts finding fault, telling us about this other place that's so much better supposedly.
