I always have trouble finding good things to eat for breakfast, but I suddenly remembered tofu scramble! Lots of protein, not sweet, can be made ahead, and capable of many variations. Perfect. So please tell me, what's your favorite version? [more inside]

I'm no longer vegetarian and I can NOT stop craving meat. Help me.

I was a happy and successful vegetarian for over 15 years and I recently gave it up. I slowly began introducing fish and chicken into my diet over the last year or so, and only recently have I begun eating red meat again. And now I can't stop. [more inside]

Feeling discouraged with weightlifting - vegetarian edition

I started lifting weights at the gym about 8 months ago. Initially I made some small gains, but I quickly plateaued and now I feel like I'm putting way more in than I'm getting out of it. As a vegetarian, should I drink like 4 protein shakes a day? [more inside]

WHEY does nobody use powder for any savory dishes?

Does anybody use whey protein powder to cook anything savory, especially any dinner dishes? I realize this is a longshot question, but web searches haven't turned up much of anything. And again, I'm looking specifically for any successful recipes that use the whey protein powder, rather than fresh whey. Thank you, o hypothetical kitchen wizards!

Salad ain't cutting it, I want protein!

I commute by bike, and ever since my commute tripled in distance, I've been coming home tired and hungry and and wanting to EAT ALL THE PROTEIN. Can you recommend some tasty, high protein vegetarian or pescetarian meals which I can either prepare in advance or throw together in the 20 or so minutes before severe post-workout hungry-crankiness sets in? Vegetarian needs "respectable" article about protein in all foods

My new doctor is one of those older doctors who believe that vegetarian diets lack protein unless you eat the "right" things. I would like to find an article to give her about how there is protein in everything. [more inside]

Beef and guns

I am: vegan, mildy exercise-induced asthmatic, non-car owning & often-biking, slightly scoliotic (not visibly, but there's back pain here and there), have virtually no access to exercise equipment other than a set of ancient free weights, weight bench, and mat, without much money. I desire hulking guns and beefiness all over. [more inside]
