Why do I have to wait to get results from a medical exam?

What is physically wrong with me and why do I have to wait for the doctor to tell me in person? I'm 38 and female, never had children. Have had problems since my early 20s with cysts on ovaries. Had surgery six months ago to remove more cysts and scare tissue from lower abdomen, cervix and vagina. The scar tissue is from previous surgeries.

Have had irregular spotting, went to doctor to get it looked at. She ordered blood taken and ordered a sonogram. That procedure was done internally and hurt a lot. The tech commented that my left ovary was really high and asked me to push it down. The procedure was very painful and when I asked if it should be this painful, she responded "I can't answer that".

So when I called to get the results last Wednesday, I was told that the results had to be delivered in person, they wouldn't tell them to me over the phone. So I made an appointment for Tuesday, the soonest they could get me in. The office has called me twice now, to confirm that I'll be there on Tuesday and the last time, on Friday, delivered a message from the doctor, who hoped "I would have have a good weekend". I've been having consistent pain in my left ovary area, several times a day, painful periods. If I knew the answer I could at least get some relief from knowing and save my questions for later.

Why do doctors do this? Is there some special reason, liability or medical, why I have to wait for the results and have them delivered in person? I had assumed it was just another cyst.

How do I identify and meet women interested in a one night stand? For the past few years, I've found myself in a number of relationships where my partners don't want to have sex. They'll do everything to remain technical virgins (oral, mutual masturbation, etc.), but penetrative intercourse is out. For some reason, I seem to keep meeting these sorts of women when I go out looking for a girlfriend.

At this point, I'm single and ready to have some fun. I've been thinking of going to bars and other places where I might meet women who are interested in a purely sexual relationship.

My questions are:

1. How can I tell if a woman is interested in having a one night stand?

2. Where can I meet women who are interested in only a sexual relationship? For example, does craigslist Casual Encounters actually work?

3. If I suspect a woman may be interested in a one night stand, then how can I proposition her for this?

Where is my vagina owner's manual?

TMI Filter: Is this normal vagina behavior? (NSFW) I've been having (relatively vigorous) vaginal sex with a newish partner. We had sex maybe three times in the past two days. My vagina now feels sort of puffy and inflamed. Last night it even took some effort to achieve penetration; it was not really painful, just difficult. Once we got going it was fine. In the past I have experienced some soreness immediately after intercourse, but this seems to be persisting. I've only had a yeast infection once, several years ago, and that involved a lot of discharge. There is no discharge whatsoever in this case; in fact, my vag feels unusally dry.

Yes, I know I should see a doctor. But I can't get an appointment at my regular clinic until mid-next week. So before I drop a big chunk of change at an urgent care place this weekend, I am appealing the ladies of metafiler. Is this attributable to simply having more sex than I've been accustomed to recently? Other vagina owners, does this sound like normal "wear and tear," or something more serious? We are not using spermicide or condoms or any other substance that could be provoking an allergic reaction. Is this within the normal range of vagina behavior?
What's this lump and how can I fix it without health insurance?

LadyFilter: I found a lump where there should not be a lump. (And it's not on my breast.) I do not have health insurance. What to do? A couple of days ago, I felt a lump toward the rear of my vaginal opening, on one side. (I feel it less from inside my vagina, more like "next to".) It's maybe a bit larger than grape-sized, and as far as I can tell, it hasn't changed sizes since I first noticed it. It definitely was not there a few days before. It doesn't hurt, though it's a little uncomfortable if I prod at it or think about it all the time (which I pretty much do, of course).

1. What could it be? It seems like it could be consistent with the location of a Bartholin cyst, but it's just my worried googling that's led me in that direction. Of course, my head is also filled with terrifying ideas like "hernia!" and "prolapse!" How likely are those things? And are there other things I could bite my nails over?

2. Are there things I can do that could potentially solve my problem without having to see a doctor? I suppose I'll have to see a doctor if the lump doesn't go away or get smaller within a few days (or maybe sooner?), but if there's something I could do for a couple of days to possibly help things along on their own, that would be my ideal.

3. Any advice about where I can see a doctor at minimal or no cost in Seattle, if need be? I am presently unemployed and uninsured, and already ruined my credit once before when I had the nerve to get meningitis without insurance a couple of years ago.

I'm in my late twenties. I did recently begin having sex with a new partner, but only twice so far, and we were very good about condom usage. All STD tests prior to this one partner have come up clean, so I very much doubt that's the issue. (Also, I would prefer to get this taken care of in a manner that allows me to continue having sex with this new partner, with a minimum of embarrassment!)

Making A Vagina Monologue Awesome

I'll be performing in next year's Vagina Monologues. How can I be awesome? Some friends from a nearby university are organising next year's V-Day and I've volunteered to help. I'll be performing "The Woman Who Loved To Make Vaginas Happy" (the story with the sex worker and the moans) - this story was suggested to me by my friends as they said I was "loud and energetic" enough to pull it off. Great! Now what?

I don't have a lot of acting experience - just a short skit here and there for school. I've done public speaking, choir, and poetry (recitals/slams) before, as well as other performance styles - but I'm just an amateur dabbler. I want to make the performance awesome - to capture the spirit of the story and entertain the audience.

Rehearsals are starting soon. What can I do to prepare? How do I effectively memorise the monologue without coming off stiff? (I've got a long list of moans to do.) Also, is it OK to adlib in TVM? Since we're performing it in Australia, I'm not sure if some of the Americanisms will translate well, and I'd feel more natural if I was able to add a spontaneous quip here and there.

Has anyone done this monologue (or one very similar) and found the material challenging? I liked the story but I'm worried that when I try to perform it I'll get a sudden case of nerves or some latent prejudice about sex workers will come up out of nowhere. This monologue requires quite a lot of confidence and slack inhibitions - how do I pull that off?

What else should I know about monologue work, stage work, or The Vagina Monologues in general? Actors, performers, directors - what are your tips for me?

(also, side question: who's generally responsible for the costuming with TVM? The actor or the crew?)

Washing off the special vagina smell

Help me wash off that special smell that comes from going down on a girl.... Many (most?) guys and surely all girls know that there's a rather distinct organic odor that vaginas have. The problem is that it seems rather difficult to wash off the smell from my mouth area and fingers despite showers and hand-washing. It just lingers for a couple days. But I can't imagine kissing my parents if there's any lingering odor around my mouth, or without a serious fear that they'll smell this on me...which I think is pretty weird.

I'd like to be able to shake hands/kiss people/act normal right after cunning (after cleaning up).

Anyone have advice on successfully washing off this special smell?

Thanks!

Ouch. Wait, yeah, ouch.

Girlyparts/sexfilter: Why am I sore the next day? Possibly NSFW. I am a female in her late twenties who has been having sex with men for over a decade. More times than not, my area down there is sore the next day after penetrative vaginal sex, and sometimes longer. This makes sex more than a few times a week uncomfortable. While that is enough for me, sometimes I would like to be able to have morning sex after a night of, um, night-sex. Or just have it again the next night. What’s the deal?

Factors that you might think are involved that I have ruled out:

1) Disease or disorder: There is no pain during sex (so no vaginismus or the like) and I have no STI’s (I am regularly tested).
2) Frequency: In the 10 years+ since losing my virginity, I have had a regular sex life. This soreness occurs whether I have been having frequent sex or am having sex for the first time after a short dry spell.
3) Condoms: I have had sex without condoms and with all varieties of condoms (lubed or not, spermicide or not, latex or not, etc). No allergies there.
4) Lube: I have had sex without lube and with many varieties of lube.
5) Partners: I have had a fair amount of partners of varying shapes and sizes. There has been no difference in soreness between partners. Ditto with toys.
6) Grooming: I have had a full on bush, and I have been bare (not sure why this would matter, but just in case).
7) Post-sex routine: I have rinsed, I have not rinsed (with soap or without).
8) The actual sex: I have had rough sex. I have had gentle slow sex. I enjoy many different positions.
9) Orgasm: I usually orgasm. Sometimes I don’t.
10) Other chemicals: I use none. No douching, no creams, no nothing down there.
11) Medication: I have been on hormonal birth control and not.
12) Clothing: I wear boring 100% cotton underwear (not thongs) and not-tight clothing.
13) Anatomy: As far as I am aware, my goods are normal. I have never had anyone (partner or doctor) state that I am unusual in anyway.
14) Birth: Haven’t ever been pregnant.
15) Etcetera: Interestingly, my anus is rarely sore after anal sex.

So what’s going on? I have no idea. I would say that the soreness occurs about 75% of the time, and (as evidenced above) it seems to not stem from anything specific. It’s not an unbearable pain, it’s just kind of uncomfortable, and sometimes I just have sex anyway and I can ignore the dull burn and enjoy myself. Specifically, the pain is right at the entrance to my vagina, around the edges. Not inside, and not much outside. Imagine something duller than what it feels like after some rough, long, or kind of dry sex (I know what those feel like and this isn’t that bad).

Is this normal? Anyone ever had a similar problem? Anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? Are there any factors I haven’t considered?

Throw away at aliasusername@gmail.com.
I'm a man and I can't orgasm. What can I do to remedy this? I am a late 20's male who recently began having sex, and I am having a distressing problem. Namely, I can't achieve orgasm.

The first time my partner and I did it, I orgasmed, but since then, nothing.

I masturbated a lot through the years and have the feeling that this lies at the core of my problem. A vagina doesn't grip my penis as tightly as my hand does. I also masturbated without lotion or lube. Like a good boy, I've also been using condoms. As a result, the friction needed to make achieve orgasm isn't there.

Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem? Any techniques or toys that might get my penis more accustomed to the slippery looseness of a vagina? My partner assures me that her vagina is pretty tight.
Too big for her?

Sex question: what to do about being "too big"? Could have done this anonymously, I suppose, but I'm asking on the spur of the moment and I can't take the delay.

Anyway, my girlfriend says that sometimes when we have sex I'm "too big", and this is seriously messing things up.

For what it's worth, I am not especially "big". It's the proper size, normal size, average or slightly above average. Some other girls I have slept with have said "that's big" but not one has said that it's the biggest... I mean, occasionally I've asked them about the biggest, and heard about serious freaks, but I am solidly in the average range.

But my girlfriend is quite petite, and I'm too big for her sometimes. To the extent that any position from behind is becoming out of the question - "it's like you're fucking my womb". This has happened before, with other people, it being slightly painful in certain shapes, but never to the extent that those shapes were out of the question.

But even the positions that are not out of the question become painful sometimes for my girlfriend, and it's getting in the way...

So my question is what to do about this? Are some bodies just incompatible? I thought about not going in completely, but that would be hard to maintain & besides would involve missing out on all kinds of extra, useful rubbing etc. Could lube help? I know you Americans are crazy about lube, but I've never used it, no one I know has, & always thought it had something to with circumcision in a way. Can it help with length? Can it stop the "fucking my womb" feeling?

Will having a baby physically change sex?

Would having a baby change sex forever? (more info, not for the squeamish, inside) I really like my sex life now. But I keep reading and/or hearing that vaginal birth stretches things out down there in a way that changes sex forever. I'm not interested in vaginal rejeuvination surgery.

If you are a woman who has had a baby (vaginal delivery), or a man who has had sex with a woman both before and after she did so, is sex very different afterwards? Is it less pleasurable? And if there is a difference, how much of a difference is it? Does the vagina spring back, so to speak, or is there only so much that Kegel exercises can do?

Finally, if you are a woman who had a caesarian section, or a man who has had sex with a woman who delivered that way, did you notice any physical change during sex?

Just to be clear, I understand that having a child can have an effect on sex for other reasons, and that having kids can be worth it even if there is a lasting physical effect in this area. This question is exclusively about the physical effects of a vaginal or caesarian birth.

I'm not talking about bread... yeast question inside. I have a mild yeast infection that's been getting continually worse for a couple of days now. I keep going back and forth on how to treat it - mainly because the last time I used an OTC remedy I ended up with a bacterial infection that was WAY worse than the yeasty. (I seem to be pretty susceptible to BV, I very very rarely get yeast infections.) I've been eating plain yogurt and taking acidophilus capsules. I just bought some Yeast-Gard suppositories. Am I going down the wrong road here? I want relief STAT! What should I do?

What tree smells like semen or vagina? This tree seems to be really popular around greater Boston. It has 5 white petals on each flower and the leaves look similar to this alternate drawing. The worst part is that while it's flowering, the tree smells like semen or vagina, depending on who you ask. What kind of tree is it? It's definitely not the Chinese chestnut.

Any experience with uterine prolapse?

I have a friend who is having a uterine prolapse. It's not an emergency, she WILL be visiting her doctor. As her friend and major part of her support team, I'm hoping you might be able to provide some insightful stories about what to expect from surgery and stuff like that.

She's embarrassed and bummed.

Any advice or "light at the end of the tunnel" stories are greatly appreciated.

Spanish obscene pun?

Is there an obscene pun on this Spanish-language t-shirt? (photo/nsfw language inside) When I first saw this t-shirt, I read it as "I have a hair on my tongue, but I don't know what pussy (/cunt/some other slang term for vagina) it's from." Later on, I found out that in Spanish, or at least peninsular Spanish, you can throw in "coño" to mean, more or less, "fuck" or"fucking." So, I presume, it's possible to read the t-shirt as "I have a hair on my tongue, but I don't what the fuck it's from."

My question: Is this ambiguity intentional? Is this a pun? Or do my mediocre Spanish skills transform it into a pun?

NOTE: I took this picture in the gift stores around Peñiscola, in the Autonomous Community of Valencia, in case that makes a dialectal difference.

What's wrong with my vag-jay-jay?

Embarrassing girlie question... I am having some very strange symptoms that are freaking me out slightly. Obviously I am going to call my doctor, but would also like to see if anyone here recognises or has experienced this.

First, I had some vaginal itching a few days ago and the whole area looked quite red and swollen. I noticed that towards the back of my vagina the skin was sort of distorted as if there was some internal swelling, and there was pain (most noticeable when sitting down) but only on one side.

I thought it might a yeast infection (which I've had before) so treated with a pill/cream combo and the itching has stopped. As far as I can tell, the area now *looks* normal, but I don't look down there often so I can't be totally sure.

However, I still feel incredibly swollen, as though something is pushing down from inside. It's not so bad when I'm sitting or lying down, but when I stand up or walk around I almost feel like something is going "fall out". Also, today I have developed a weird (painless) tugging/stretching sensation on the right side of my bellybutton, which I've never had before.

Googling is giving me all sorts of scary information about uterine prolapses, etc. but I am a 20-something virgin, so could that even be possible?? If not, what might be going on? I am not in pain, but this is really worrying me.

What is happening to my vagina?

Strange bumps on labia that seem to harbor either small piece of flesh or bizarre unknown creature, bleed profusely after extraction with fingernails then heal up without trace of their existence...this is incredibly embarrassing to ask EVEN under the blanket of anonymity so please be kind.
Okay, so I'll try and give as much detail as possible. Basically, I first noticed these bumps--there were only two on the left side of my outer labia--because they slightly itched kind of like razor bumps itch. However, I hadn't shaved this area in nearly two months so it seemed suspicious. Being curious, I started putting pressure on one with my nails, like you would a zit. After noticing that it seemed to get a little larger when I did this, I persevered until a small piece of pink, fleshy matter came out. Upon removal it proceeded to bleed PROFUSELY for a couple of minutes (seriously really strange considering the size of the bump, equal in size to razor bump), then it stopped. Did the same thing to the other one which was near it and the same weird pink fleshy thing came out. The pink fleshy thing is similar size to the bump though it seems a little bigger, so perhaps part of it is under the skin?

Today I noticed that I had a slight itch and saw FOUR of these things. Now, this is months and months later. So WHAT THE FUCK. Did same process, same pink fleshy thing.

Do I have some weird STD? It's possible. The last time I had my annual was March 2007. Is this chiggers? I've heard about these and they make me recoil in terror. Am I dying of some strange flesh-consuming superbug? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated, though I expect many "IANAD but..."s to appear.

To complicate the matter further I am in a non-anglophone country in Western Europe and while I speak the language it is a SLIGHTLY delicate matter and I'm really embarrassed to bring it up. Additionally I have to pay for all medical-related shit up front and then wait about a month to get reimbursed (DING DING DING if you guessed that I'm in France). Basically I'd rather wait until September when I'm back in the Land of the Free (=USA) to get this checked out if that ends up being necessary.

Thanks, hive mind! Now I will go skulk in shame...

"I fart in your general direction." Please help us stop! The guy in my pilates class thanks you!

Ladies and Pilates - question about unintended sounds during class. I know it's normal but is there any way to clamp down to quiet down once in a while? This doesn't seem to happen as much during yoga, and it doesn't matter if I've had sex recently or not. I'd like to be able to cut down on the vaginal farts, aka queefs during pilates class.

These are mat based classes (no machines) and the sounds seem to happen during the rolling exercises. I sometimes take the class with friends, and it's a small enough town that I see people around. I'd rather not share those little sounds with them, if possible. Are there any core exercises, or positions, to reduce the sounds? Kegels? Mula Bandha focus (like yoga)? Or is it just practice?

I know it's just air going in and out (hello, sex) but during quiet moments it can be a little irritating. I know others have had this problem (I've heard them) and I've talked to friends, but we're all new at this and wondering if some more experienced pilates folks have any suggestions.

Unexplained Vaginal Bleed

Why am I bleeding? ACK! My partner noticed I was bleeding during some acutely angled sex a few days ago. Kind of a lot. Enough to stop.

Since then, I am noticing blood when I poop. Kind of a lot. The first time I saw it, I checked and it seems certainly to be coming from the vagina, not the butt. In between poopings, there is a trace amount, but not enough to wear a pad. Seems like only what's left from the bleed that happens when I'm on the toilet.

It seems not to be menstrual blood, because it's fresh red every time. This last time, there was definitely some clotting in it, sorry to be so graphic, but soft clots embedded in mucus, leading me to suspect an internal recent bleed, it was red red only, and this is the third day of the phenomenon. Menstrual blood is usually dark or brownish for me by the middle of my period. Also, no cramps. Also, not time for my period. I am not on the pill or any other hormonal birth control.

Nothing hurts. The sex didn't hurt. What could this be, please? Do I have a nosebleed in my vagina? My blood pressure is always 120/80, and I am otherwise a healthy young woman. I had my annual and pap in March.

A presentation on transhumanism!

How do I successfully plan and execute a powerpoint presentation on the merits of transhumanism? Here are my raw notes so you can assess whether I am a dumbass or not and perhaps help me:

(By "raw" I mean this is a mishmash of idea shards, speech material, and concepts to keep in mind. Go easy on me!)

Transhumanism:

Earlier in this course, specifically during our reading of Carl Elliot’s Better than Well, we touched upon the subject of enhancement technologies and how they relate to the human identity. The goal of this presentation will be to relate the concepts inherit within the enhancement technology movement, and their relation to the more radical, but inexorable terminus of Transhumanism.

Transhumanism can be achieved through the stringent adherence to a regimen of enhancement technologies
Wikipedia defines enhancement technologies as: “any attempt, whether temporary or permanent, to overcome the current limitations of the human body, whether through natural or artificial means.”

Max More stated: “Transhumanism is a class of philosophies that seek to guide us towards a posthuman condition. Transhumanism shares many elements of humanism, including a respect for reason and science, a commitment to progress, and a valuing of human (or transhuman) existence in this life. Transhumanism differs from humanism in recognizing and anticipating the radical alterations in the nature and possibilities of our lives resulting from various sciences and technologies”

The purpose of Transhumanism is not to turn one’s own body into the Terminator, it is simply to bridge the divide where natural evolution left off. In essence, fix the problems that Mother Nature (the mechanisms by which nature operates) won’t and can’t.

*Discuss natural problems that nature did not evolve a perfect solution for.

*Discuss structures and their associated shortfalls… “panda’s thumb-esque”

*Would the populace then become obsessed with self-improvement due to envy and/or the boundless possibility in perfection?

*Diseases of aging exist for no other reason than that advanced age is well beyond the scope of reproductive age and thus maladies faced in such age will not be the defining factor in regards to fitness.

Applied science is consciously directed rather than the undirected force of natural selection. The Transhumanist philosophy espouses the ethical outgrowth

1) Explain Mother Nature’s mistakes

2) Explain that genetics do not have to be perfect, just “good enough” to be passed on via evolution by means of natural selection. Thus justifying the Tranhumanistic agenda of self-improvement through technology and applied science.

How to stop reoccuring yeast infections

I've had a yeast infection/yeast infection + bacterial vaginosis one to two weeks before my period for every month since December. I've read all the old AskMe threads and tried the home remedies on this page. I'm about ready to start scheduling a monthly appointment with the doctor to get my dose of antibiotics and buying Gynelotrimin wholesale (I'm allergic to Monistat). Help! I:
- go commando more often than is probably decent
- often wear skirts in combination with the above
- wipe with hydrogen peroxide when the itching starts
- have tried sticking yogurt, tea tree oil, hydrogen peroxide, acidophilis, and garlic in my cooter (not all at once)
- dry off with paper towels
- wash with Cetaphil
- don't take baths
- maintain a trimmed exterior
- pee/wash after sex
- take acidophilis
- cut down on sugar
- exercise regularly/sleep well
- use cotton underwear (when I wear underwear)

Given that I rarely got yeast infections before I started hormonal birth control, I'm almost positive it's due to the BC. I've tried Ortho TriCyclin Lo and now I'm on NuvaRing, and the yeast infections still come. But for convenience reasons, I would prefer to not abandon hormonal BC for condoms and don't feel ready to invest in an IUD (I'm worried about the spotting side effects).

So--short from that, is there anything, anything else I can try? I got myself waxed once and that seemed to help a little. I'm not a fan of the look, but I'm willing to do it if it produces results--has it helped anyone else?

Can I learn to enjoy the taste of vagina?

Can I learn to enjoy the taste of vagina? I really want to. I really do want to enjoy licking pussy. I'm an attentive lover who enjoys giving pleasure to women. I love giving long backrubs, and I love using vibrators, dildos, and my fingers on girls. So psychologically you'd think I was into going down on them. As an inexperienced teenager I always heard how much women love guys who lick pussy, and I looked forward to being one of those guys.

Now that I'm out there having sex with girls, I find that I really don't like the smell and taste of most vaginas. There are a few here and there that I don't mind, but so far they've belonged to girls that don't really crave cunnilingus. The ones that I've dated that do want cunnilingus, I've been fairly turned off by the smell and taste. I do enjoy using my fingers on the girls, but the smell of my fingers afterwards is often a turnoff. These have all been pretty sanitary girls who take good care of themselves and bathe regularly.

Has anyone here grown to enjoy the taste of vagina where they previously didn't? Or do you know of anyone? Is there something I should be doing that I'm not? Presently I'm just telling everyone I date that I'm not that into cunnilingus, and they've been ok with it so far.

Nuvaring & no inserter = vag pain.

Hailing all MacGyvers - help me insert my Nuvaring! I have been using Nuvaring birth control for a couple of years now and love it except for one major problem: the shape of the ring (O) combined with the lack of applicator often make it difficult to insert it into my vagina deep enough that it stays put. I squeeze it so that it's narrower, but my fingers are apparently too short for my vagina, so it starts to open up into the "O" shape before it gets deep enough into the vagina. Even when I think I've put it in deep enough, but as soon as I move around (e.g. running for the bus yesterday), it slips lower into the vagina, near the vulva. In that location it's irritating (annoying & causing pain and redness in my vagina & even vulva). I need to get it beyond the canal zone and into the folds zone, if that makes sense.

Soooooo... I'm looking for MacGyver solutions to resolve the lack of applicator problem. (Yes, I've tried lots of positions for ease of insert, and I've used lube to help put it in easily. And a penis works well to push it into place, but sometimes it pulls it out of place instead, so that's not the reliable solution I'm looking for.) I've thought of something that I could use to tie it so it stays in a straight line instead of the "O" shape, and later unfurls. I've thought of something like a tampon applicator that could help me get it higher up into the vagina before it opens. But I really don't know what do to. It is quite painful these days.

I hope I haven't massacred the terminology here.

Is crooked vaginal piping a problem?

GirlFilter: I am crooked... inside. Travelers to my vagina would find themselves taking an abrupt right turn 2 or 3 inches in. Is this normal? Do I have to marry a crooked man? The angle, as far as I can tell, is about 40 degrees off from the plane that goes up the middle of my body. I don't know how far it goes in that direction, but I think it must be a good distance -- at least long enough for a tampon.

Actually, I discovered this fact of my anatomy when I was figuring out tampons. For a long time, I couldn't get them far enough in to be comfortable. I would hit opposition with an inch or more of applicator still sticking out. One day I was sliding the point of the tampon around, trying to get a better angle, when -- swoosh -- up it went, with very little resistance. I just had to point it to the left (my left, going up toward my head). At a certain point, after I've set the tampon at its new angle and before I've pushed it in, the part of the applicator that is outside is pointing not straight down, but somewhere past my right foot. Before the tampon has taken the turn, I can feel it in there; after I push it up, I can't, so that part of it is working well.

I have always read on tampon instruction packets that the angle will be toward the small of your back, or at least somewhere in the vertical plane. Health class didn't mention scenic routes to the uterus. Google doesn't reveal anything substantive. However, I'm not planning to see a gynocologist, since I'm not terribly worried. All of the machinery that I need at this point in my life is working just fine.

My question is whether any (all?) of you are built this way and, if so, are there any complications with sex or childbirth? Experimentation with the former isn't an option, since I'm planning to wait until I get married. Honestly, I can't imagine how sex would work unless the guy had a kink in just the right place. And how common is that?

I'm in the 18-25 age demographic, if that helps at all.

I've set up an email account if you would rather comment or ask for clarification there: bentoutofshapemefi at gmail dot com

Connoisseurs of Cunnilingus: What does it taste like to you? I know this may seem pervy, but I ask out of genuine, longtime curiosity, which has not been resolved despite performing in the Vagina Monologues - twice!

As long as I've had my culele, I've wondered what "normal" is, like many women, I'm sure. I have my own ideas, but trying to describe yourself is cognitively bizarre! (lavender and bacon??)

I'd like to hear some generalities and hopefully some refined epicurean descriptions of the good and bad, perhaps illuminated with the nature of your acquaintance with The Pink One.

Fuck off, trolls.
