The amazing shrinking uterus

I was informed this week during an IUD insertion that I have a small uterus. This was news to me. Looking back at prior ultrasound results, I see that the height of my uterus has shrunk from 6.9 cm in 2011 to 4 cm now. [more inside]

I got an IUD and now they tell me I have a bicornuate uterus... Options?

First of all, I got an IUD inserted last week. I was planning on paying out of pocket (I'm under my parent's insurance but for religious reasons didn't want to utilize it for fear of discovery), but is there any way to make it cheaper? Second, I went to a check-up appointment today and they told me that I have a bicornuate uterus (heart shaped, not totally split), something they didn't check for before they inserted the IUD. I was told the IUD wasn't in the correct location and would therefore be less effective. What are my options? [more inside]

Depo-Provera and Pregnancy

If someone became pregnant while on the shot, what would happen? This PDF says that the effects are minimal, but also sternly warns one to get off of Depo Provera immediately if pregnant, which leaves me thinking they're leaving something out. What are they afraid will happen? If birth controls change the uterine lining, doesn't that affect the fetus too? What happens to the children of the 3/1000 women who get pregnant on D-P?
