I used to upload photos from my camera straight to my hard drive, and they would transfer in the original file size, eg 720x960. Occasionally when I have gone back to copy one, it shows up only as a thumbnail (75x75), and I can't find the larger format (ie doesn't seem to function as a shortcut to larger file). Some end up as thumbnails, others from same batch do not - problem seems to be random. Why is this happening, and is there any way to resize the thumbnail?

Have used the photo site Imgur, as thousands do..Lately, though, it no longer works for me, though it does for many others. I am told, via search on net, to empty cache, to close down addons, etc but that has not helped. Have written Imgur for help but no answer...Many others seem also to have this problem too but not everyone..Is there a quick and simple fix (I have no tech background) that might get Imgur working again for me?
For a while, I've searched for a quirky way to handle delivery of my files online - basically one video file, between 30 - 250 MB, gets uploaded to YouTube for client preview, and to Hightail (formerly YouSendIt) for delivery to put on air. I'd love a simpler, or more automated way, to handle this process on my Mac. [more inside]

I just broke my point and shoot camera and want to replace it with something more modern. I have a 4GB eye-if SD card that I configured to auto-upload to my online photo storage for me, but I'd like to find a camera that has this feature built in. A quick google (an 4 hours later), it doesn't seem like I can find such a camera -- is my google searching rusty, or is the camera market missing "automatic, easy picture upload" as a built in feature? I don't want to use my eye-if anymore. Any suggestions for a camera that does it all?
I am moving overseas and would like to backup my 80gb of photos, which are stored in iPhoto '11 and Adobe Lightroom 3, to my Flickr account, which now has a terabyte of storage. I'm looking for an automated workflow if possible. [more inside]
I'm coordinating a project that involves sending participants to remote communities in the Canadian North. The communities have varying speeds of internet connection, but in general, I've been told it's pretty slow, and sometimes bandwidth is restricted. The participants need to record video of themselves and send it to their evaluators back here in the city. What is the best (free) solution? [more inside]

iPhone App: I want to upload EVERY photo I take, to Flickr, immediately after being taken. This means that I want the app to upload in the background, REGARDLESS of what I'm doing. I may hit the home button and go on to another app, or I may just throw the phone in my pocket. I want the new spiffy multitasking to work as promised and upload my photos. I want to use this as my main camera app. I use a 3GS, so multitasking does work fine. [more inside]
