I'm coordinating a project that involves sending participants to remote communities in the Canadian North. The communities have varying speeds of internet connection, but in general, I've been told it's pretty slow, and sometimes bandwidth is restricted. The participants need to record video of themselves and send it to their evaluators back here in the city. What is the best (free) solution?

Is there a service (I was hoping FedEx did this, but, alas) where you can upload a DVD image from one state and someone can come pick up a burned copy in another state? (Beats mailing it.)

I am getting married soon, and for my reception I'd like to set up an easy system for my friends and family to send me all of the photos that they took during the day. My friends in the past used a shared flickr account, giving the password away so everyone could log into the account and upload the photos. I'm wondering if any mefites have a better solution out there.

iPhone App: I want to upload EVERY photo I take, to Flickr, immediately after being taken. This means that I want the app to upload in the background, REGARDLESS of what I'm doing. I may hit the home button and go on to another app, or I may just throw the phone in my pocket. I want the new spiffy multitasking to work as promised and upload my photos. I want to use this as my main camera app. I use a 3GS, so multitasking does work fine.

My programming tutorials look terrible on YouTube. I wouldn't care except that it's hard to read the code. This isn't just the way YouTube is. I am looking at other people's tutorials, and I can read their code. How do I encode/upload videos so that they look as good as possible?

My sister is going on a 3 week adventure in Nepal and is taking a 1 year old Canon Powershot SD1100 IS. She'd like to upload photos a few times while she is away to some sort of photo sharing site (flickr, photocbucket, or even facebook). She is wondering if it is possible to do this without first saving to a computer (she'll be in internet cafes) and if so how? Both she and I (obvs) are new to this digital camera stuff.
