I'm about to upgrade from a 1.0l Citroen Saxo to a 1.8l Mazda MX5 convertable. As a first time owner of 1. a sports car, and 2. a convertable, what do i need to know in order to get the best out of it and look after it properly in the UK weather? [more inside]

How long will the mechanics of a 2002 Imapala LS (3800 V6) last, considering normal upkeep such as oil, sensors, filter, etc? Who knows anything about the 3800 series motor?
