My Mac's 10-year-old bluetooth
keyboard is acting up, and I'm pretty sure that it's death is imminent. I'd like to find a replacement, but Apple long ago stopped making full-sized wireless keyboards -- what are some good alternatives that exist in 2013?

Based on this
thread, touch typing has changed people's lives. I have been watching my fingers type for more than forty years, so I may not be able to make the change, but I'm willing to put forth a good effort. What software-based training program is likely to be effective to help an adult fast finger-typist become a fast(er?) touch typist?

I've tried a number of times to learn to touch type properly - usually about this time of year - but it never 'sticks'. I'm mid 30's, and it's really starting to bug me.

[Stenofilter] I know that
stenotypes are useful for the transcription of speech, such as on-the-fly close-captioning, court reporting and similar. But is there any benefit in using a steno-type or other similar chorded keyboard for, say, writing your next novel?

How do most people type here ? (And on the internet in general?) Are most people touch-typers? Do people get trained at school these days? I use about three fingers on each hand but am pretty fast nevertheless. I have seen a lot of "bashers" and "peckers" in my time. I am just wondering what the "norm" is these days.

A friend is a writer and journalism major who types a lot every day. Yesterday they noticed that the right hand is mis-hitting some of the keys, causing spelling errors.
No other problems or symptoms, and right hand only. My friend just turned 57, and is physically active and fit- softball, yoga, walking. Curious what could be causing this very annoying problem

I recently bought a SteelSeries 7g and I just love it. My only gripe is that it's wired... I've looked around on the net for a wireless mechanical keyboard (ie. one with clicky keys) but no luck. Does anyone know of something like this, whether bluetooth or RF-linked? Otherwise, would it be possible/feasible to mod my 7g with the components from a wireless or BT keyboard?

I am really tired of using using Unicode or the Microsoft Word symbol function to type in Greek, and learning the polytonic keyboard is giving me spasms. Does anyone know of a good WYSIWYG editor for Ancient Greek that includes macrons, breathing, iota subscript and accent? Something similar to
this, but for Greek, would be perfect.
