I am currently installing a HP Indoor-Outdoor Point-to-Point Dual Band 10/13dBi MIMO 3 Element Antenna (J9170A). It comes with three pigtails with N type connectors. I need to extend the pigtails 100ft but am unsure of which coax type to use.

So a close family member has type 2 diabetes and now his kidneys are only functioning at 30%. Do you know of any diet interventions he can take that might help him avoid dialysis ? I am not sure if Dr. Neal Barnard's program can still help him at this point. He is in Columbus, Ohio. Any doctors or specialist, as well, in the area to refer him too would be much appreciated also. Right now, doctors are telling him that in 2 years he will have to go on dialysis. In addition, my boss' friend found a kidney donor on craig's list. Any ideas how to find him a donor as well with social media, websites, etc, if it comes to the route. thank you

I have this Old Fashioned glass
with a bold, matte black letter printed on it. It's 4" high and 3 1/4" in diameter. The bottom has bumps the size of smallish marbles. I have a suspicion that it was carried by Crate and Barrel in the 70s or 80s, because my mom has one too, and my family got a lot of decor from there when I was a kid.
I'm looking for more, specifically a J or an M for my wife's birthday. (She loves having her initials on things.) Any ideas?

Help me identify the font of the logo for the Belly card. It can be seen on their website here
is it a custom logo design or a font? I feel live I've seen it before. Thanks!

Way way back in the day I unlocked the Adobe AVENIR font family from my Adobe TYPE ON CALL CD-ROM, on a Macintosh that probably had a Motorola 68030 microprocessor inside. Do I still "own" those fonts, and does Adobe keep records of such things? [more inside]

Well it happened. I'm officially bored with all my ipad/iphone games. The App store has exploded recently and I'm pretty binary on the things I like, plus I've got to share the device with another game-lover with different tastes . What are the best, new iPad/iPhone games? [more inside]

How do most people type here ? (And on the internet in general?) Are most people touch-typers? Do people get trained at school these days? I use about three fingers on each hand but am pretty fast nevertheless. I have seen a lot of "bashers" and "peckers" in my time. I am just wondering what the "norm" is these days.

I'm looking for best practices and recommended fonts for typesetting Somali, Farsi, Tamil, Pashto and Punjabi (not sure which script yet). Do you read these languages? Can you point me in the direction of some good-looking examples? Thanks in advance!

I need logo and font help. The name of my vintage motorcycle restoration business is MotoKrow. My last name means "crow" in Dutch, and begins with a K. I like vintage motorcycle logos, but don't want to copy. I'm very fond of the old Moto Guzzi logo
. Anyone know what that font is? A simple logo like the Matchless
one is nice. I'm no designer, and I thought this place full of smart people (like you!) would be helpful. Apologies in advance if I've violated some sort of protocol here.

What's the right software to maintain and display a calendar of relatively infrequent future events, as well as blog-like news postings? I maintain a website for specialists in my field of mathematics, and one section consists of announcements for upcoming and recent conferences. Another is for news announcements: a basic blog-style list of entries. Both are currently run by our 7-year-old Movable Type installation, in combination with a good bit of chewing gum and baling twine. I'd like to redesign the whole schmear, including the back end. Is wordpress (plus more gum and twine) the right solution? Is there some other system that makes more sense? [more inside]

Here's the deal: I've exhausted my neurons looking for some kind of answer to a mathematical symbol
stumper. I'd love to know who invented, originated, or was the first individual to use the double-tilde
(≈) as a means of expressing/denoting "approximately equal" in mathematics. I know that Robert-Recorde
is supposed to have introduced the "equals" sign (=) in 1557. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated. I await enlightenment.
