I am on facebook, pinterest and twitter, and I was wondering if random people can just look up my stuff that I have written or even my pictures. I'm not talking about people who are logged in and are following me or my friends. I just mean random strangers. Thanks.

Have you seen any sites -- mainstream media or other -- that use Twitter in an innovative way relating to breaking news? I'm especially interested in ways that readers participate, but would also look at ways the sites get the news out to their users. (Facebook and other social media innovations are also of interest, but mostly looking for Twitter info.) Thanks!
