Back in the day, what did contemporary viewers of
The Andy Griffith Show feel about the show? Was it good and wholesome, or sordid and immoral? Was it 'funny ha-ha' or 'funny omg i can't believe they just did that!'? Realism or surrealism? Sitcom or soap? And all that jazz.

Where do you get those little 30-foot TV towers, that look kind of like
this? They're all over the place out here in rural Texas, but I don't have any idea where people get them. They can't be ham radio towers, as I've bought those before and they run close to $1000. I just want something to get my weather station wind sensors up over the tops of the pine trees.

Name that tune please :: PBS is great, and the songs in their promos are actually just as good. Currently running is a promo that ends with the words; "Be More ~ ThirteenHD" (this is PBS Thirteen's High-Def channel which they broadcast in NYC & possibly elsewhere?). The music which accompanies it is a piece that I'd classify as sort of a Blues/Rock/Jazz instrumental.
My Question:
Name that tune!?!

A few years ago, I saw a TV-documentary about a man who was burning down luxury homes somewhere in the American west. The arsonist's best friend (brother?) was instrumental in capturing him. It was on 20/20 or Primetime or some similar show. I was riveted by the story, have never forgotten it, and I'd love to see it again. Which show was it on? Is it available on DVD? Transcript? Based on a book?

A few years ago, I saw a PSA narrated by what sounded like a black man in his 40s or 50s. It described how one summer he and his brother were told by their father to build a brick wall for no apparent purpose. He talked about how hot it was, how they didn't spend any time with their friends, and they had to rebuild parts that weren't up to snuff. At the end, the father said something like, "Now don't ever tell me there's anything you can't do." I loved the ad, and was wondering whether it was available online. Any ideas?

Short version: Want to piggy back the audio/video output of my receiver onto my cable TV signal.
Long version: I want to take the output of my receiver which is in RCA plugs (2 audio, 1 video) and somehow put that onto coax that ALSO contains my basic cable channels. I'm sure I stumbled onto something like this while looking at home automation stuff months ago, but I'm not finding it now. Effectively what I want is to be able to put my receiver's output on channel 100 or something on my coax. This would allow me to split that coax and run it to other TV's in my house and have the output from the receiver available on any TV on channel 100, while still having the regular cable channels available as normal. This will allow me to play Xbox on any TV in my house with my wireless controller.
I found
this but it only puts the one signal onto coax, it doesn't add it to coax with an existing set of channels. Not what I want, but its the closest thing I've found.
Is this even possible or am I dreaming that I have seen this before?

Are these Will clauses legitimate in UK law? Or are they a convenient dramatic device, long superceded in legal practice?

Have you noticed all the cool background music in television commericals these days? A lot of it is electronica, some ambient, some house, some trip-hop, etc. Who creates all of this music, and how do you break into the 'Television Commerical Music Production' business? How can I drop the hot beat for the next L'Oreal commercial?

LOSTfilter: I found a great link last week but (argh) didn't bookmark it. It's several animated gifs/screen caps from the show LOST on ABC. All of the pics show weird flying black things. One set on the beach, and one from the jungle that actually flys up and stops in front of the camera. Am I crazy, or has anyone else seen these?
