Recently we watched a TV show or movie with this scene. A man realizes his hand is not shaking. He's with another person who's hand is shaking after some stressful/traumatic event. The context leads you to believe he's finally realizing he can deal with the stuff. We saw this within the last few months but can't remember what it was from. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I have a vague memory of a single bit of a movie I saw in the early 90s (don't know how old the movie was tho). Three kids, on the lip of a giant TV screen. The sky was orange/yellow/green stormy. The movie villain was threatening them, and they either pushed him into TV land, or they themselves jumped into it to escape him. Any guesses?

I'm looking to watch clips of sales pitches that appeared in movies or television - anything over the past 50-60 years but the more recent the show or movie would be better. Think of something like a scene in Mad Men where Don Draper absolutely nails the sales pitch to the client. [more inside]

It is the late eighties or early nineties and you are watching a late night movie on UHF. It features a "wanderer" type person with big religious/philosophical ideas, set in the modern US, and loopily incoherent/incompetent. Is this a trope, what are the examples? What are examples of seminal bad late night movies which aren't scifi/horror?

How many instances in television and film can the hive mind come up with that involve a character driving someone out to the desert (or some other remote location) to kill them, often having the victim (who is usually someone who has wronged the character, or can't be convicted in a court of law), dig a hole, only ending up unable to actually murder them?

Can anyone tell me where I could find a copy (legit or not) of the 1974 TV movie "The Little Match Girl" (IMDB info here
) that starred Lynsey Baxter. It was a great, particularly dark version, and I'd like to show it to my family this holiday. Any leads appreciated. It was originally produced by a TV station in Cincinnatti. I am not interested in any other version than this one. Thanks!

Looking for more examples of a plot. Well, more of a structure really. The one from Noises Off, where you are shown how the story should go, then they go through it again, only this time everything goes wrong. Bonus points if they go through it a third time, and it absolutely explodes. [more inside]

I'm looking for lists of TV shows and movies that have characters referencing numbered lists of rules.
As examples in Wedding Crashers they reference a random assortment of rules e.g. Rule #110: Never walk away from a crasher in a funny jacket. Fight Club has "First Rule of fight club is..."
What else has a set of rules like this?

Is there a real world referent for that bleeping typing noise used in some films as a text (usually a location note) appears on the screen? It's a similar thing to that chunka-chunka typing sound used in the X-Files when the location of a new scene would be announced, but it's like a very rapid, high-pitched "beedeebeedeebeedeebeep" sound played while the letters appear. What movie or TV show was this? This has been nagging at me for years!
Around 1978 or 1979, when I was 7 or 8 years old, I remember seeing a creepy teaser on TV for an upcoming movie, or episode of something, in which a man wearing dark glasses is speaking to someone off-screen. He says something like, "Don't go in there, kid, unless you want to end up ... like this!
" And then he removes the dark glasses, and instead of eyes he has two things that look like raised, white ridges with horizontal slits cut into them. Something like Inuit snow goggles
, but set into the eyes instead of connected in the middle.
I never saw the show and this is literally all I remember about it. A friend of mine thinks it might be The Omega Man
, but I'm pretty sure it isn't.
