what is the accuracy of heat exchanger modelling

i want to document in order, the merits of different methods of estimating performance for copper tube aluminium fin heat exchangers. ashrae standard documents the most valid methods of testing, basically with a primary method and 5 confirming methods. to do a paper study, there are many ways to go about it. what i want to do is review and collate these methods, as a background to the development testing my company does. however i don't want to do the legwork if there is already an analysis that covers the general structure and merits of the theoretical methods. is there anything out there that does the comparison for me?

Escalator at Leicester Square tube station

I have escalophobia (vertigo related) and so as a rule avoid the extra long escalators on the tube network (namely Angel, Holborn and Leicester Square) as I've previously had panic and vertigo attacks on them. This evening I need to get to Goodge Street and TfL recommends I change from the Piccadilly line to the Northern line at Leicester Square. I'm struggling to find out from google whether this change involves using the very long escalators. Do you know? [more inside]

i know you googled me, but i swear that isn't me throwing up gang signs or pitching for AAA baseball in Cincinnati.

i share a somewhat random name with a miscreant from the midwest. when i google my name, i get a mixed return of my stats and his; his being mostly juvenile youtube vids of him skateboarding and flipping off the camera. i KNOW employers in my field google search/research online profiles heavily. what to do? DIYfilter - What is this disk insert called?

I've got some cardboard tubes from plastic sheeting - in all different lengths and widths. I want to be able to put shelving on them - so I'll be needing a round disk that'll fit in about 1/2 an inch snugly and have a screw protruding so I can then bolt the wood to the screw and tube. What is this disk called and where can I get them online?

It's a giant erector set, or, a series of tubes

Giant erector set filter: I am looking for fittings used to join square tubular steel in various ways without welding, for purposes similar to a large erector set. I'm looking for straight splice joints, T, L, X, and 45 degree angles. [more inside]
