I want an unlimited online source for these generic t-shirts that you see all the time. I just found out that there are sites that let you design these shirts for your organization or event such as this that give you all the generic clip art your heart could desire but they of course want a bulk order. Anyone know of a site that lets you design a shirt like this and just order 1 unit, or that lets you order a copy of a shirt that someone else has already got them to design?

I run a website dedicated to vintage PC games (that is, games from the late 80s, early 90s). Ad revenue has been declining, and a co-admin suggested making t-shirts to sell to support the site. I have questions about what art/words we can use on the shirts. [more inside]

Where can I find awesome hip graphic t-shirts in Large/Tall Size? I love wearing cool designer T-shirts - long and short sleeve, but have been totally stymied in finding great designs in L/T. I am male, 6'3" with a long torso. I swim in XL.
Banana Republic has one shirt and others that regularly sell L/T don't have any graphic designs (Lands End and Eddie Bauer). [more inside]

I'm looking to make some t-shirts, on an on-demand basis. Are there any alternatives to Cafe Press and Zazzle, preferably one that's not weird about owning people's designs, and copyright issues? I'd like to have unlimited designs available, decent prices, and decent quality t-shirts. I'm not interested in getting anything in bulk. Thanks!

Naturally, all of the tie-dye shirts that I have bought at concerts or made myself over the past few years have faded to a white-pinkish mess after the first wash or two. Do you know of a good place, online or off, that sells quality tie-dye shirts? Preferably, I would like shirts sporting the usual designs - The Dead, Phish, The Allman Brothers, etc... Google turns up plenty of vendors; the hard part is figuring out who actually makes the quality goods.

I’ll be launching a new t-shirt site over the next several months and am looking for insight into what makes a good shirt (our fearless leader, for example, likes American Apparel shirts and the designs from Protoculture, nerdnyc and glarkware). So what do you look for? Comfort (cotton? cotton-poly blends?)? Funny or clever slogans (you bet your ass there’s a difference between funny and clever (and witty, too))? Artistic value? Originality? Retro styling (or do you think retro's going back to the grave)? What’s your favorite t-shirt? Where and how did you find the shirt/seller?
Please don't get all riled up about "self-linking": I emailed #1 twice for an OK and got no response and of course am not including any link (here or in my profile).

Over the years, I've collected a whole lot of t-shirts, and as I'm something of a slacker nerd, they're pretty much the only thing I wear. The problem is, I keep them in stacks in a big rack of square cubby-like containers, so I wash them, I fold them, I stack them on top, and then inevitably wind up wearing the same dozen shirts over and over again. I've been trying to devise an ingenious way to get a better rotation, but I'm coming up blank. (I share a closet with the girl, and pretty much all of the hanger space is hers, so that's out.) Anyone have a brilliant method of managing shirts like this?

I want to create a few custom T-shirts (1) where my image covers the entire shirt, not just a small rectangular area on the front or back, and (2) that are fitted, not those loose nerdy things, and (3) online. Accurate colour reproduction is fairly important. Is there an online store á la CafePress that lets me do this?

Custom t-shirts: I don't have a silk screen, nor the inclination to acquire and learn how to use one. What are my other options? I can only think of thermal transfer, but I remember that being an unreliable, short-lived approach. Is there a better way to do thermal transfers, or a better way altogether?

I've heard that American Apparel's wholesale prices are way lower than the $15 they want at retail for a plain t-shirt. How low do they go? Also, someone the net must resell them (printed or unprinted) for less than $15. Who?

For a while now, my ex-fashion student Kaffrin, and writing student Me have been wanting to hop aboard the t-shirt printing bandwagon. Is there a cheap, high-quality screenprinting kit out there? Or any better suggestions than inkjet iron-ons to get images and text from a computer screen onto fabric?
