Who sells lined women's trousers in the UK?

I want a pair of lined wool trousers, for women, in black. I'm in the UK and I like brands like Toast, APC, Margaret Howell, All Saints, and Cabbages and Roses. Most of the wool trousers from these brands seem to be unlined from the item descriptions. So where can I find black lined wool trousers for women in the UK?

So hot and humid, but I have to wear pants to work. Which are best?

I keep looking online, but it is hard to tell which trousers are actually the lightest weight and coolest. If you have some that you actually wear and help you make the best of surviving an urban summer commute, please tell me. [more inside]

Men's trousers: flat front, high waist. Help?

I wear a suit or dress trousers most days to the office, and am looking to replace some of my wardrobe. I've gone to a few mens' clothing stores, but have struck out looking for high-waisted, fitted but not tight, flat front men's trousers. (Details/snowflake/etc inside) [more inside]

how to get pants to fit properly?

Almost every pair of pants I've ever worn has had the same problems, except one pair I found in a thrift shop a couple of years ago. I'm starting to wonder whether my proportions are just outside the range served by most stores: should I be shopping at some sort of specialty store for the misshapen? I'll give my measurements and describe my fit problems inside. I'd appreciate any advice on how exactly I'm deviating from manufacturers' expectations and what I can do to wear normal clothes. Minor alterations are within my budget; made-to-measure and bespoke are not. [more inside]

Oh Pants! Ladies Pants, that is.

I am in need of comfortable, loose, modest pants/trousers suitable for sitting cross-legged on the floor for long periods of time. This will be in public, so unfortunately pj's are out. Preferrably under 40US and not hideous to look at. Yoga pants are too form-fitting. I'm a US ladies size 8/10 with a small waist, womanly hips and thighs and 5'3"ish. Any ideas?

NOT in the navy, just trying something new

What-to-wear-with-it-Filter: Navy blue trousers. I (mid-20s male with an obvious tendency towards beanplating) just decided to shift work wardrobe into a higher gear (business casual!), and bought two fantastic pairs of washed cotton chinos. One pair is navy blue. Never worn navy blue before. Help me pair it with my existing wardrobe without looking like an off-duty sailor or Connecticotian on vacation (sorry, Connecticotians). How to get pants that fit me?

My girlfriend and I recently spent several hours in our typical U.S. city looking for some new pants for myself, an adult male. Almost none of them fit. I wear a 34" waist (36" was always way too big) and a 34" inseam, but in most of the pants my abdomen showed upward-pointing "smile lines." From looking at some sewing blogs, it looks like this means the crotch is cut too high. My girlfriend says I have a "perky" rear end, so some of the pants were giving me wedgies too, especially the ones made from thinner fabrics. After trying on lots of pants at Nordstrom Rack, Gap, J. Crew, and Banana Republic, we were only able to find a few pairs that actually fit (a pair of khakis at J. Crew, dressier slacks at Banana Republic, and a pair of Levi's 505 straight fit corduroys). I couldn't find any jeans that would fit me at all, but maybe I can find somewhere with 505 jeans. [more inside]

Dressy Dude Corduroys

I'm in the market for a quality pair of men's corduroy trousers, hopefully in a forest green-ish shade. I'm not liking the (vintage and Land's End) pairs I'm finding because they feel too much like casual pants: the waistbands are kind of flimsy, they're cut like jeans, etc. Recommend for me please a corduroy trouser around $100 or less with a strong waist. outsource my pants.

the right trousers. I've heard that it's possible to get exact duplicates of items of clothing from Indian sources, and would like to know if anyone has any experience of thus or can recommend anyone. I have two pairs of trousers that I love, fairly distinctive, that I wish I could get duplicates made of. if I can just post them to someone and get copies back by return that would be awesome.

UK male needs a new work wardrobe

UK male needs a new work wardrobe. I think I want suits that I'll wear mostly without a tie. So maybe two suits (two pairs of trousers for each), and 8 shirts?
