Need to map my Boise cycling training rides!

Is there a tool out there which will allow me to plug in the mileage I need for a certain cycling training ride, and will spit out a route that will get me that amount of miles? Maybe using Google maps or something? I'm in Boise,ID, if that matters.

Adult beginner soccer training/camps in the U.S.?

Adult beginner soccer training/camps in the U.S.? I'm a relatively new player (started a couple of years ago). I play on a couple of teams, but as fun as games are they're just not the best way to develop basic skills; I really need a structured practice environment and feedback. I'm considering going to this camp, but I'm wondering if there's anything similar in the U.S. (Google turns up a bunch of camps for kids, but very few for adults, and even fewer for adult beginners.) West Coast would be best, but I'm willing (obviously) to travel further afield if need be.

Your experience/advice re Articulate or similar presentation software?

Do you use or have you used Articulate software or similar, and if so, can you give me your recommendations, thoughts, advice? I'm looking at software (preferably) or services for creating various types of presentations with a bit of style, and I'm a total newb. I need something that will work for business presentations, e-learning (including quizzes and tests), training videos, and sales presentations in formats that will work locally as well embedded in sites – preferably as flexible as possible. Obstacle course training help.

Okay, so when I turned 40 last year I wasn't super-psyched about the direction my body was going. I started exercising a bit, and this year decided to set a goal. I decided to do this stupid "Warrior Dash" thing. Possibly because it looked more fun than a standard race, possibly because I'm an idiot. [more inside]

Games That Talk About Their Own Buttons

I know that some fairly recent video games, at least as recent as Ocarina of Time, have moments where characters (or physical signposts) inside of the game talk about the buttons that the player has to hit. I have a vague memory of this occurring in much older games, maybe characters in NES games saying "make sure you equip your weapon on the start menu" or things like that , but I can't locate them. Can anyone verify times where this happens?

Musculation à Paris?

Does anyone know of a good place for weight training in Paris? Having both a squat rack (not the same thing as a smith machine) and a place to do deadlifts is mandatory; having local expertise in Olympic style lifts (e.g. clean and jerk, snatch) is a strong plus, but maybe too much to hope for. As always, cheaper is better. [more inside]
