I've seen questions on this before, but I have specific details that might make my question unique. My dog (a miniature poodle) has a doggy door and until 3 or 4 months ago we let her have unsupervised access to the backyard. Unfortunately, she decided she didn't like getting her feet wet by going on the grass and started going on the patio. At which point I launched operation supervised poop. [more inside]

Potty training an Adult Dog. We got our 2-year-old Poodle 6 months ago. She's pretty timid and nervous. We don't know anything about her background other than that she was raised with 9 other dogs. When we first got her, she was pooping and peeing in the house. We hired a trainer and followed his suggestions and now she no longer poops in the house. But she continues to pee on one particular carpet... [more inside]
