Our new dog fears me and is generally seems to be fearful. He's already bitten the friend who would be watching him if we went on a trip! It would break my wife's heart to take him back but if his behaviors keep up I don't know if we'll have any choice. However I believe there are rarely bad dogs, just mostly bad owners. How can we make Fishstick part of the family? [more inside]

Kitten filter: My wife's new kitten (he is 4 months old now) seems to be going through a biting phase. He especially likes biting hands and arms. We try to spray him with water and say "no biting." Will this be enough to train him not to bite, or is there something else we should be doing? Thank you!

Hey hive mind! So a friend of mine has an old dog with hip dysplasia and bad back legs. My friend needed a running partner and a new friend for said older dog, so she went out an got herself a pup (about a year old I think)
Now younger dog is nipping back legs of older dog, basically tormenting her. What should my (very upset about this) friend do?

Our recently adopted, very sweet, very clingy male kitten is showing some signs of aggressive behaviour. Is this typical of intact males? Will his behaviour change for the better after he's neutered or should I be worried? [more inside]
