My group of contractors works fulltime onsite at Big Agency, and Big Agency has run out of room and is considering getting trailers to put us in. These would be onsite, have water/sewer/electric. I'm hoping to get ideas from people who have worked in onsite trailers on features I should gently suggest Big Agency consider when they are checking out what to buy/rent. Group size is 8 people.

CuriosityFilter: We all know that movie trailers that begin "In a world..." became so common that those three words became an in-joke thanks to Don LaFontaine. I know many spoof movies (like the Scary Movie series) have spoof-type trailers that start out with the voiceover, "In a world...". How many trailers actually have used that voiceover snippet in the beginning un-ironically, and what is the most famous one? [more inside]

I'm thinking of getting a towbar and (camper) trailer, but I have two questions: How do I make sure that the trailer sits level when connected to my car, and why does the towing capacity of the car appear to have no reference to the total weight of the car and trailer and load in both?

We are taking our minivan with four kids, two adults, to the coast in Oregon.
My wife and I have an unresolved disagreement about which is best--a trailer, or a roof top carrier--for hauling all of our camping junk that won't fit in the vehicle. Please enlighten me about trailers. [more inside]

Is there any way I can get an RSS feed for a site that doesn't publish one? I really want to access ComingSoon.net's Trailer page (which totally rocks) via Bloglines.

I have an acquaintance who wants to put an wireless router in her mobile home (aluminum skinned trailer, just so there's no confusion) and access it from her Mother's trailer across the street. It's only about 50' but there's a narrow street in between so a long Cat5 won't work.
A mutual acquaintance is saying that this just won't work because the aluminum skins of the two trailers will suck up all those lovely radio waves.
Anyone have experience with WiFi in this type of situation (mobile home, RV, etc) and what kind of signal she's going to get. Are we going to need repeaters in the windows to get this to work at all or will a 802.11g router and a good card in the laptop going to get a decent signal.
Please, no trailer jokes. These are small-town folks, they have a good life but not a lot of money.

I have always wondered when the movie trailer became what it is today. When i watch trailers for old movies, they seem to have this crazy fanfare with the star's names in huge type, etc. Then trailers from the 60s and 70s seem to have no music at all, but just a man with a very low voice narrating the plot. When did they become the flashy music-driven mini-movies that they are now? I'm guessing around the time of Raiders of the Lost Ark, but I'd love to know the real answer.
