We're going to Chicago this weekend! Despite a 50% chance of rain (BOO) I am determined to have an awesome time. We will be staying in Wicker Park and plan to rely mainly on bikes and the L to get around. We aim to eat, shop and explore. Where do we start? [more inside]
I live in L.A. and I have someone special coming to visit. He didn't much care for this city the last few times he visited, so I want to take him to places that are very un-L.A. Any suggestions? [more inside]
My lovely bride and I will be married later this year. Due to scheduling issues, we'll be taking our honeymoon in January 2013, in Capistrano Beach. We need some ideas on what to see and do in and near Orange County. [more inside]

My Italian nephew is the proud owner of a Greyhound bus pass. His pass is valid for two months, he speaks decent English, loves nature, and he is not afraid to sleep on the bus. He just arrived from New York City to Oklahoma City, where he will be based for a while. What loops around the US should he travel?
Sitting-tour-of-NYC filter: My seventeen-year-old sister is visiting me in NJ this week and we want to hit up NYC on Saturday. Problem: she sprained her knee on the plane ride over, and so a lot of things I had in mind (mostly shopping) are no longer practical. Help me find cost-effective entertainment in NYC for someone on crutches! [more inside]

My wife really likes run down tourist attractions and old fashioned "medical" spas, both of which are found in Hot Springs, Arkansas. For her birthday this month I need something closer to Indiana (within 200 miles of Indianapolis). Recommendations? [more inside]

Planning a trip to the Banff/Jasper area late June-early July. Not our first, but first in 8 years or so. There was an excellent thread on MeFi in 2008 concerning accomodations, but some of the links have expired. I will be there for a milestone birthday and want to wake up somewhere amazing. Must have internet/wifi. Must be close enough to amenities that if the weather is abysmal, we'll still have nice things to do within slogging distance. Don't want to spend a milliion bucks, but are willing to shell out for somewhere which is worth the money.
3 Days in London, England in April 2012. My wife has never been before. What should we not miss?

Help me find a quality drum and bass/jungle festival to attend in the next 12-24 months (or a fun city to visit with weeklies/clubs/options for hearing a variety of heavy, bass-driven music... but not so much dubstep). Preferably somewhere in Canada or the U.S.; other ideas welcome, as long as they're worthwhile and not scary-expensive. [more inside]

The Hubs and I are driving to Milwaukee today to watch the Brewer's game at 1pm. I'm told it will be done by 4:30. After that we want to hang out in Milwaukee a bit and have dinner before driving back to Chicago. Neither of us know all that much about Milwaukee besides where the baseball stadium is. I would like to do something even mildly interesting and/or unique and/or tasty. What would YOU do?
My g/f and I, based in Chicago and working in Evanston, were going to go to the Bristol Renaissance Faire today because I have the day off and she's done with work in an hour. Turns out the Faire, obviously, isn't open on Wednesdays. What else to do between Evanston and Bristol? [more inside]

There are some good suggestions here for walking tours but I'm also interested in bus/coach/cycling etc.
