Where should I start in the Total War series? I am enjoying Civilization V but I'd like to jump into the Total War series and I see there are quite a few versions and updates and I don't know where would be a good place to begin.

I have an excel file with a list of expenses that are continually updated, sorted by date. There is a column for specifying the category that each expense belongs to. Is it possible to create a formula that adds up the expenses that belong to a specific category?

I have a group of numbers (4,5,10,53,1.5) and I want to display a graph showing the distribution of outcomes if I pick an arbitrary percent out of the the group and sum them. This has to be incredibly simple, what is the name for what I am trying to do? Or how can I do this in Excel?
