What is delicious in a cold tortilla wrap?

What is delicious in a cold tortilla wrap? Other than chicken. I've discovered that tortilla wraps make for a great sandwich alternative for a packed lunch. So far my ideas have all been chicken-centric and I think I've run that particular meat into the ground.

What else could I do? Duck might be tasty , but it's such a pain to cook. Would strips of steak work (and if so what with)? I'm open to vegetarian options too.

Help me fancy up my homemade corn tortillas!

Help me fancy up my homemade corn tortillas! I've read some previous questions about perfecting homemade tortillas, but I'm not interested in technique/tips (that's well covered here) so much as adding ingredients. At my local farmers' market (Berkeley, CA) there's a place that sells these amazing tortillas that have beans and cheese cooked right in - this is the type of thing I'm looking for. Is it as simple as just adding whatever sounds delicious to the dough, or does it depend on the ingredients? What can I add? I have a tortilla press, and lots of time on my hands (the perfect combo for experimenting!).

Where can I find these tortillas?

At a Walmart in Missouri, of all places, I found some pre-packaged, refrigerated tortillas that were very, very thin pieces of uncooked dough stacked together. You just peeled one off, put it in a pan to quickly cook it, and ended up with a delicious, home-made-tasting flour tortilla. Where can I find these in Chicago? I've tried making my own, and even when I use a tortilla press, I can't seem to get them thin enough.

These pre-packaged, uncooked torts are perfect, but I can't find them in Chicago. So far I've checked Jewel, Trader Joe's, and even Walmart out in Skokie with no luck. I'd rather not (unless it's my only choice) go on a wild goose chase, checking every single Mexican market in town, in hopes of finding them.

So, have you seen these anywhere, or do I need to go back to MO?

Tortilla dough in SF?

Are there markets in San Francisco where I can buy the dough to make tortillas? Giving a tortilla press as a Christmas present tonight and would like to have some of the appropriate dough on hand. I feel like I've seen this for sale at markets before but have no idea where. Anyone have experience with this and know where in San Francisco I could pick some up easily? Cheers...

Taco Bell Bean/Meat ratio?

TacoBellFilter: What does the sign on the tortilla warmer that says something like %71 Bean %29 Taco mean? I can't remember if that's exactly what it says. If not, it is something very similar. Is this propaganda reminding the employees that on a menu item containing both beans and taco meat, the prescribed ratio is 71% beans to 29% meat? If so, that sucks! 70/30 is bad enough...but 71/29? I don't like the idea of subliminal suggestion being used to shaft me out of getting the taco meat I deserve! Can any former employees shed light on this?

Rhubarb cherry fajita?

A couple of days ago, I was googling around for help when it came to cooking rhubarb and cherries together. I found a recipe that looked really good that called for baking them wrapped in tortillas with butter, sugar, and I don't remember what else. Now I can't find the recipe any more. Any suggestions on how this might work? I've never cooked rhubarb or cherries before, got both at a farmer's market a few days ago. I don't want to make a pie, because I don't like store-bought crusts and I don't feel like making my own crust today.

I'll take other nominations for ways to combine these two ingredients, as long as it's not just a rhubarb cherry crumble.

Unstick my tortillas

How do I stop my tortillas from sticking together? I keep them in the freezer since I only use them occasionally. When I thaw them out, they are sometimes glued together and impossible to separate without making holes in them. Is this preventable? Is there a way to unstick them? If I can't freeze them, how long will tortillas keep in the fridge?
