Where can I get a nice, good-quality linen suit in Toronto, preferably downtown? I'm looking for someplace I can buy off the rack that has a decent selection. Any leads would be much-appreciated.

Can you recommend an independent insurance broker in Toronto, or alternatively an insurance company with whom you have had good experience, for taking out a tenants' insurance policy? I'd also appreciate any guidance with respect to whether it's a better idea to go with an independent broker, and risk getting stuck with a bad company at a better price, or go with a company with a better reputation even if the insurance costs more.

Is there a charity in Toronto that would pick up a (bedbug-free, lightly-used) double futon couch/bed? We'd like to donate our futon to someone who could use it, but aren't sure who would want it and be able to pick it up.

I need a recommendation for a hairdresser in Toronto for a haircut for my wedding (I'm a guy). My barber unexpectedly took a leave of absence, so I'm in the unenviable position of having to go to someone I don't know for the most important haircut of my life. They have to be really good and not intent on using my head to show off their artistry (I want a fairly straightforward cut). I don't care about price. Please help!

I'm looking for the name of a high-end furniture manufacturer that is based in Toronto. I know this company exists, and have seen its website, but I can't remember its name. It has a factory in Toronto that builds luxury couches, chairs, and so forth. Thanks for your help!

Can anyone recommend a good travel agent in Toronto specializing in travel to Australia? (Someone with access to cheap flights is particularly valuable.)

I'm looking for recommendations for a good tailor around Queen and Spadina in Toronto. Nothing fancy - I just need some dress pants hemmed - but recommendations any places you personally know to be good/not too expensive would be appreciated.

TorontoFilter: I've just moved to an apartment on Queen, just west of Spadina. I'll be here for two months - until the end of June - and I'm really excited. What should I do, where should I eat and drink, to make the most of this neighbourhood?
