Every 3-4 months I get a scratchy throat, swollen tonsils, and mild postnasal drip which lasts about five days. Is this possibly due to mold in my damp, poorly ventilated apartment? [more inside]

I never get sick when it's convenient. It's not convenient and I'm sick.

Iknowyou'renotmydoctorfilter: I have been sick since Thursday. No fever now(It was 102.5 then) but it still hurts to swallow and my lymphnodes under my jaw hurt and are swollen. I called my doc and wound up on VOICE MAIL so am not even going to try to get in to see her. [more inside]

I want to know equipment, drugs, and procedure. How do you keep things sterile, stop bleeding, etc. Assume the individual in question can override the majority of his reflexes, including gagging, at will. [more inside]
