My 14 month old toddler seems to have transitioned from 2 naps a day to 1 nap a day. Our two-nap schedule was fine, but now with one nap our days are a mess. I need guidance on how to structure a toddler's daytime routine. I've read the sleep books but I need a fresh set of eyes on this situation.

My exactly-two-year-old (tomorrow) shares a room with his older brother. When bedtime rolls around, stories are done, and lights are out... he will not stay in bed. Looking for any ideas.

I just found out that when your child reaches 35 inches, they're supposed to transition out of a crib -- and that's my son's height. I think he could probably climb/fall out of his crib at this point. But what if he's not ready for a toddler bed?

Right now, our 3-and-a-half-year old has her own room, and our one-year-old sleeps in Mommy & Daddy's bedroom. Next week, we're moving the baby into the toddler's room. What can we do to make the transition as painless as possible? How can we make this necessity into a positive experience for our kids? Are we crazy for even considering this? If your children share a bedroom (or if you shared a bedroom as a child), I'd love to hear your advice, warnings, opinions, and anything else you think I should hear.

My 12-month-old baby refuses to go to sleep unless he's holding my hand. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for getting him over this or transferring his attachment to something a little less attached to me?

Our little boy (he'll be 4 in June) wakes up most nights and can't get back to sleep for up to 3 hours. He suffers from occasional myoclonic seizures when he's tired, which complicate things some nights - but not all. He doesn't cry and this isn't the usual toddler sleep problem. It's more like chronic insomnia. What to do? We're all affected by this, obviously!
