selling vehicle without title

I've got a vehicle whose title is in the process of being transferred to me. I've got to do the reregistration by mail from Oregon to California. I've had an offer on the vehicle. The potential purchasers say a bill of sale and them putting the vehicle on their insurance is sufficient to let them drive legally. They also mentioned a temporary registration, which I've never heard of. Is this a bad idea, or a practical one to get the car sold now. [more inside]

Adjunct Instructor, Lecturer, Professor...?

My contract said "Adjunct Professor." My faculty ID card said "Adjunct Instructor." My paycheck said "Lecture/Adjunct." I never cared since this was just a two-year, part-time gig and I had no further interest in academia... but I do need to call it something in my bio. I don't have a terminal degree, suggesting and the contract was wrong and the ID card was right. I emailed the department; they said they'd check but didn't email back (I'll ask again). This was at a large private university in the U.S. I have to finalize a bio tonight -- should I just say Adjunct Instructor?

Where to download this song?

help-my-girlfriend-figure-out-the-song-filter: OK, I know for a fact the song is called "Stay," but I have no idea where to find it. I think it had two rappers on the verse, and I know it had a female on chorus. It was released between 2000-2003. Here's the tricky part: The song title is a variation of "6-0" I only heard it on the radio, so when the DJ would say "6-0" I don't know if that means "6-Zero," "six-0," or any other combination. This is driving her nuts, all she wants is to download that song or find out wheat CD it is on.. she has tried every variation of the song title in Limewire to no avail.

any difference between 'acting' and 'interim' in job title?

When filling in for a superior that has resigned, before a permanent replacement for the position is identified, is there any difference between a job title of "acting $POSITION" and one of "interim $POSITION"? Specifically, does one indicate that the temporary replacement is or is not in consideration to be the permanent replacement? (This is a position in a university office, if that matters.)

Help find a goofy movie in australia title...

I'm trying to figure out a movie title. The movie was set in Australia, where a guy is traveling by himself and meets a girl, falls in love, and she drugs him and when he wakes up he is married to her and living in a commune. The thing is no one ever leaves the commune, and they make dog food there. I've searched netflix, and imdb. Now hits. It had a goofy two word title. I just cannot remember it. Can someone help me?

Help on tracking down a lienholder

I recently purchased a car from family member which, while paid off, still has a lien on the title. The original owner never anticipated that they'd ever want to sell the car, and never had the lien removed because the lienholder entity had been purchased and merged and re-purchased several times over. Now that I have the car, and need to get it registered, I need to track down the entity that actually has the lien on the car and get the lien removed. Any suggestions for tracking them down? Are there registries for this sort of thing? FWIW, the original lienholder was a Saab financing company in New York.
