I was recently diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome and I am having a very difficult time dealing with it. I am only 27. Basically tingling in my hands and a tension in my shoulders that does not go away. My blood gets rather restricted and my shoulders tire easily when they are raised above my head, which clued in the doctor to the TOS.
At first the doctor thought it might just be a pinched nerve or a hernia but it is occurring on both sides of my body particularly on the palm and in the shoulders. I am living in Japan right now and one of my best friends here just went home to Ireland so I have no one really close to talk to, and thus am dealing with a bunch of stress as well. I am also taking days off of work since the fact that the condition has been steadily getting worse since February is really bringing down my spirits.

I have had what a doctor said is probably a pinched nerve for the last 2-ish months. It started with a tingling in the left shoulder and now runs all the way down to the fingertips. How to heal when you are stressed, it seems to get worse from stress and you cant do anything you love?

I've had a tingling/burning sensation in my left shoulder/hand for about a week. A doc that I saw in Tokyo thinks I have a pinched nerve and told to come back in a week, but was rather vague about what to do in the meantime. I have no health insurance so I would prefer to not go back, but I just noticed the tingling starting up in my right hand as well.

YANMD, but: I have been practicing a bit of piano as of late. Maybe too much, as I started again out of the blue, and am working on a song that is relatively difficult for me. i noticed recently that my left shoulder is starting to tingle while playing. At first I thought it was just a one-day thing, but the problem is persisting and seems to be getting worse.

Tingling fingers and toes in the morning, cold limbs, tiredness after a hot bath and shower. I have a bunch of symptoms that don't seem too unusual, but I still wonder if there is something wrong with me?

Tingling/burning sensations as well as fatigue and heartburn for the past few days. Seeing a doctor next week, but curious what this could be and if I should rush myself to the ER.

What is happening? I'm scared I'm going to wake up completely unable to walk. Should I wait for the call about the MRI or do I need to go to the emergency room?

I get a tingling sensation in my jaw and mouth for a second or two whenever I begin eating any type of food. This especially happens when I have not eaten anything in a while and/r if the food has a lot of flavour. I call it "flavour explosion" out loud every time it happens and my girlfriend is starting to look at me strangely. Does anybody have a similar thing happen to them or know what this could be?

After ~20 minutes in a hot tub, I get an intensely uncomfortable tingling feeling in my arms and my face and feel very... woozy and unbalanced. What is going on, and is this normal?

My SO has a problem where her leg falls asleep completely in the middle of the night once or twice a week. Always the same leg (left) from the hip down. She's 40, healthy and doesn't have any other health problems. We've tried switching sides - and even got a new mattress. Any ideas?

When I peel an orange or tangerine, I love to eat the pith off of the rind. When I do this, my lips always tingle for a while afterwards. What causes this? I've heard that orange piths have more vitamin C than the fruit itself, so is it the vitamin C causing the tingling?

I have had a couple (2 exactly) of episodes of tingling/ pins and needles feeling in my hands and feet (lasting 1-2 hrs) . And 1-7 times a day it feels like someone is sticking a hot needle in my foot (either one, very rarely in my hands), this lasts for around 30 seconds. The pain is very breath taking. I have also experienced some numbness on one occasion. I went to a physician's assistant since my doc was booked .....

Very rarely after orgasm, I'll get a bizarre, indescribable pain in my penis (this is the reason I haven't been able to google it). It's almost like it's tingling, but in an incredibly uncomfortable way.
