Android App for Filming One-a-Day Stop Motion?

So I was thinking about doing one of those take-one-picture-a-day time lapse videos, but I wanted to also make it a stop motion video too. I'm kind of hoping that there's an Android app that would help me do this. So I'm going to describe what I think the perfect features would be for such a project, and hopefully someone will tell me if there's anything even remotely close to this. [more inside]

Massive time lapse project assembly on a Mac?

I've been shooting a long series of time lapse images at my job, where we're doing a massive tear down and build. The whole process will be roughly 7 weeks long total, for 8-10 hours a day, 5-7 days a week, one shot per minute for each of two cameras. Up until this point, I've been using iMovie to assemble the initial images in series, spitting video out and then loading it into the GoPro studio app and speeding it up 800-1000% (this will be used in a show and can't be longer than perhaps two minutes). Long Scale Timelapse Tips

I have a terrific view from my office of the construction site of a giant building. I think a timelapse video of that view for the next 18 months would be very compelling. I have a Canon 30d and lens, and a decent PC with network connectivity, that I can dedicate to this project more or less permanently. I will build a dark "hood" around the camera to keep office reflections and glare down. I have a power supply dingus on order, and once I have the camera in place I'll put some sand bags on and around it to try to keep it as still as possible. What else is there? [more inside]

Has anyone seen/made a timelapse of shelf fungus (Trametes) growth?

I got to work with this example when I took a mycology class a few years ago, and it occurred to me that watching it grow might be kind of beautiful... if the years it took were compressed to a minute or so. I've found no such timelapses, however.

Recommendations for inexpensive still-image, auto-uploading webcam

My organization is starting a major construction project, anticipated to take about 4 years. We'll be using a Nikon D5300's interval capability to capture high-resolution, high-quality images for archival and documentation purposes. We would also like to be able to monitor the progress remotely over the internet by using a webcam or other camera (under $200) that can take good-quality still images and upload them automatically to our server (or email them) via WiFi. More specifics after the click. [more inside]

I want to build a timelapse camera that sends photos over 3G/GPRS

Where/how should I start putting together a device that will take a photo at a set time everyday and send it over a mobile network to a specified location or recipients? Click inside for all the whys and wherefores but in a nutshell this needs to take reasonably high quality photos and operate unattended in a location several hundred miles away from me for at least six months at a time (ideally indefinitely). It'll be indoors and mains power is available, I don't care about saving the photos on the device (in fact I'd rather not in order to avoid having to manage storage) and the only access to the internet is over GSM networks. I'm working on a reasonably limited budget (ideally under £100) with more of a broad understanding than detailed knowledge of the technical concepts involved (ie electronics and programming) but I do have a fair amount of time, enthusiasm and sheer bloody mindedness on my side. What are the best tabletop hands-making-things videos?

You know those videos where the camera is stationed above or to the side of a work table, and all you can see of the artist is their hands? I'm looking for examples that are above average in production and/or entertainment value. They could be time-lapse art making videos, or how to make an origami crane, or white-board illustration, or something similar -- but I'm looking for the cream of the crop.

Movie with a flower-through-concrete timelapse?

I'm trying to remember a film released within the last 10 years, most likely from the early 2000's. The last shot of the movie is a timelapse shot of a flower blossoming or possibly sprouting up through concrete. It's likely a Todd Haynes film or a Charlie Kauffman script or something along those lines. (Pointing me toward any other movies with time-lapse shots of flowers blossoming would also be helpful.)
