Can anyone point me to actual data on how often motorists receive traffic tickets? I'm looking for where the top of the bell curve is, so to speak - obviously, individuals vary widely, which is kind of the point of my question - how often does the "median" driver receive traffic tickets?

Is there a website like Kayak, but with the option to filter by the airline that
operates the flight (i.e. to exclude codeshares)? Or is it possible to do this on Kayak? I have some United credit to spend, and it's proving non-trivial because I can't spend it on flights operated by Continental et al.

I can't make a concert, and I'd like to sell or even give away the tickets. Here's the problem: the venue claims that tickets must be picked up night of, that they can't be transferred, and that one must present ID and the credit card used to buy the tickets when picking them up. The tickets aren't Ticketmaster or a similar service. Am I screwed?

So, I've won tickets to Brandon Flower's show at the Riveria in Chicago, IL next week. Problem is, I'll be gone. I want to give my tickets to my friends who are big fans, but my name is on the will call and not in physical tickets. I'm wondering if they can go without me.

I last flew in September and the price was 300 bucks for one way non-stop flight. Now, in April, it's 600 dollars for the non-stop, and the cheapest flight has a layover, AND is 80 (380) dollars more. Is there a reason for the large increase in flying costs these past 6 months?

I was pulled over for speeding in the Adirondacks. I went to court. The officer didn't show up. The judge told me that I could plead guilty to a (no-points) charge and pay $100, or the prosecutor would drop the charges and then refile them, forcing me to drive 2 1/2 hours to court a second time. So of course I agreed to plead guilty and pay a hundred bucks.
Is this legal? Or is it double jeopardy? Is there anything I could have done? YANML.

Given that the airlines are reducing the numbers of flights due to the economic downturn, what is the optimal time to book cheap flights? In the past, I've had great success booking domestic flights 2-3 days before. This time, we will be booking 2 round trip tickets. I just booked a flight from the western US to Montreal for my husband, three weeks ahead, as we found the planes were filling up rapidly. We didn't get much of a deal.
Standby is not on option as I'll be flying with an autistic person.
Any and all hive-mind thoughts are welcome. Thanks!
