I use Mozilla Thunderbird for e-mail but, beginning about a week ago, although people received and continue to receive e-mails from me that are ok, when I open the same e-mails in my "send" file to review them, they're either blank or a jumble of code, often, related to e-mails other than what I just opened. Help!

I'm trying out Thunderbird, which I like so far. But is there a way to really view emails as plain text? I've set View > Message Body As... > Plain Text, but that just eliminates HTML tags when I view emails. I want to be able to see the entire email content, ugly tags and all, as plain text.
