I'm looking for a men's thumb ring in the NYC area. I've never had a ring before, so I'm looking for something inexpensive, simple and casual to see if I like it first. Inexpensive is definitely under $50, preferably around $20. There's a lot of simple stuff I like here, but I'd really like to go somewhere I can get sized and try a bunch on in person.

Two-year old caught his thumb in a door. After two hours, the child no longer complained of pain, was using thumb fine. No swelling, cuts, or outward signs of trauma. However, the thumb "clicks" and locks in a straight position if the child extends his thumb. Is this a permanent injury? What damage was sustained? What should we ask the doctor when we visit? I need to find a way to keep all of my various bits of information handy in one application on my USB drive - things like notes, to-do lists, addresses and project information - and would be very grateful for any recommendations or help you can give me :) ! I'm happy to pay for the right software so paid or free options would both be great.
