Where can I get The Man hot sauce from Seattle if I'm not in Seattle?

Where can I get The Man hot sauce online? I have just had a flash of brilliance that if I could get some of The Man hot sauce from Dixie's BBQ in Bellevue, WA shipped to me on the East Coast, it would be a perfect Christmas present for a loved one. Their web site doesn't seem to have any for sale and I don't even know if you can get it bottled. I've emailed the address given on the website to see if it can be bought, but no answer yet.

Has anyone been there who could tell me whether it's even possible to buy it bottled? If so, do you know of somewhere I can order it online? It would be useful even to know if it's possible to buy at the restaurant, so I might be able to track down a friend in Seattle willing to buy and ship some to me.
iPhone Killers?

Are there any cellphone MP3 players that let you set an mp3 as a ringtone? I'm thinking of replacing my cellphone and mp3 player, but I refuse to buy a combo device that won't let me set an mp3 as a ringtone, because that's insane. I also want to be able to buy an unlocked handset and use it with whatever provider I want, rather then being a slave. (Can you tell I really don't like the cellphone industry?) So basically I have this tiny little Samsung YP MP3 player, which is great for working out, but lately I've been taking my phone with me to the gym and it's silly to have two devices. According to a sales drone at Radioshack the Samsung UpStage for example, won't play mp3s as ringtones. What phones will? Any?

I'd also like to get something that let me surf the web like a toshiba g900 or a Nokia n95 provided they can play mp3s as ringtones.

help me help the man

I'm trying to make my new web project legal in California. After reading through the Nolo press book(s), we thought that perhaps the LLC was the best corporate structure (we are going to issue stock and give the primary developer a portion in lieu of payment). While the Federal government taxes LLCs like sole proprietorships - you aren't taxed unless you make profit, and I don't see our profit outpacing our costs for a year - the State of California charges an LLC "tax" (really a fee) of $800, due almost immediately after your incorporation paperwork goes through, so... Is there a way to legally put off the incorporation until we can afford to exist as a corporate entity? If we have $799 in startup costs before then, can we defer the deduction of those until after we incorporate and pay the $800? Is the $800 in California state tax fee deductible as a business expense on our federal return?

I'd like to consult an attorney but of course cannot afford to, as this project is, at least during its early development, on a shoestring budget. Any suggestions on other tax resources for small businesses?

Who the hell put that cable there?

Does a utility company have the right to run a cable over my property to my neighbor's house? Here's the scoop: A few days ago we noticed there was a new cable running from the utility pole in front of our house diagonally across our property to my neighbor's house. In total there is probably 100 feet of cable crossing our property in direct line of site between our windows and our lake view. Nobody asked permission to do this and we were never notified that it had occurred.

There's a number of reasons why we don't want it there, not only for esthetics, but for practical reasons, since our lot is sloped so the cable hangs low enough that if it was there last year our tree-cutter-downer-people wouldn't have been able to get their crane into the driveway.

We asked our neighbor and they told us the local cable TV company did it because the pole in front of their house "didn't have the proper hook-up." We don't want to be difficult neighbors but we'd like to have this cable moved so it doesn't cross our property. We don't blame the neighbors and we don't want them to be charged anything. We'd pay for it if we had to, but I think the cable company should do it on their own.

Before I call the cable company I'd like to know what my rights are in this situation. I know that you have no right to the airspace above your property, but where does the airspace begin? I live in Mass., if that matters.

there are, at least to my mind, many nefarious things going on in this country, at all levels. i recently voiced a specific complaint to a friend of mind. his reply was 'this is the way the 'man' wants it.' who is this 'man' anyway?

I was recently let go from an IT support job that i have worked for the last 2 years, and now I'm looking for new work (more inside) The reason i was let go is because of a problem that arose with my background check during a transition from part time to full time employee status. The short of it is a drug violation from three years ago prior to ever even working my last job.

I realize that just about anywhere i look im probably going to run into the same problem, so i now find myself in the position of needing to generate income. I am well versed in just about any form of windows support, some linux, html, css, perl, and photoshop work.

What would some of you mefites suggest as a way to generate income during this transitionairy period for me. Other than typical slave wage jobs like waiting or bartendering.

KIAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII!!

I am on a Jim Kelly (AKA Black Belt Jones) tip- right now and I am trying hard to find places where I can find more movies of this nature...

Chop that mutha down! I want to organise a whole day of cheesy blaxploitation kung fu flicks from the 70's, the worse the martial arts and the bigger the afros the better. Think about ODB's video with Kelis for "Got Your Money". Bonus points if the acting is terrible and it looks like it was filmed inside two locations on a budget.
