What are interesting projects where art meets new (digital/social) technologies?
Like Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir, Youtube Symphony Orchestra, or Google Art Project.

No one tells you how to be a musician in high school. What should I be doing? I feel like playing open mics and blindly sending out demos isn't the right way to do it. I can't even play at bars because I'm under 21. Any advice?

Any recommendations for stores in Albuquerque, NM for the cast recordings and soundtracks for stage or film musicals on CD? The Borders and Barnes & Noble stores are pretty good, but I'm wondering if other stores in town have better selections. Thanks!

For theatre (and other) projects, I sometimes need music that I can't find on CD. Is there a service that lets you email sheet music to a musician, who then a musician records the song and sends it back to you as an mp3? I'm looking instrumental music -- no vocals. Just a piano/keyboard is generally fine.

Theatre Audio Filter: I'm looking for stereotypical "award show" music, the kind of thing they'd play at the Emmy's when an acceptance speech runs to long. Or perhaps the kind of thing you'd here as the contestants walk on stage during a beauty pageant. More Inside!
