Challenge: find me that movie/tv movie for children. I remember this one from my childhood, but don't remember the title. Can you help? It rains every day except once a year. All of these children are in school and looking forward to the sun coming out. One little girl is locked in a closet by some mean bullies and misses the sun coming out. She misses the grass growing, the flowers blooming, and all the frolicking. The end is her running through the flowers/rain after she got out somehow. Anyone remember this? Well, something is wrong...I use Mac the Ripper to rip the DVDs...then I am not sure what to do. I turned them into mp4s in Handbrake and then burnt them in Toast under the Divx tab. I get a lot (maybe 6?) movies to a disc (dual layer)and the picture is decent BUT it takes several days...a day to encode the files through Handbrake and then 2 whole days to burn the disc in Toast. Am I doing things completely wrong? I would appreciate a step by step walkthrough if there is a much easier and more efficient way to make Divx discs primarily because I have a huge spindle of DVD-DLs that I don't want to waste on one movie at a time. Thanks for your help and happy holidays! By the way I am using a brand new IMac running OS 10.5.5

HDTV filter: I recently bought a new HDTV with a built-in tuner. When I auto-tune over the air, I receive about 6-8 channels clearly, but none in HD. (Most CBS/FOX/ABC sports and local news are broadcast in HD, but I only seem to get them in non-HD.) Am I doing something wrong or do I have to buy an HDTV antenna from my local Radio Shack (if so which one should I buy?) [more inside]

A while back someone ran a personality test called The Cube on me. I've also played a similar game whereby each participant in turn says "I have never done [name of activity x goes here]" and the others around the table have to drink if they have done x. Can you recommend any other fun games, personality tests or quizzes that can be used in social situations, can be easily memorised, don't require much in the way of additional materials and help you get to know others better? School-age, juvenile stuff is perfectly acceptable!

I using Mac the Ripper than Handbrake to turn DVDs into mp4 files. (I use DVD dual layer)...When I use Roxio Popcorn, I can fit several movies on a disc (4) but it takes honestly a day and a half to burn on DVD !!!! But the DVD plays perfectly in my cheap player. Trying a different route, I tried dragging the mp4s to a blank DVD disc and then clicking "Burn" -- it burns and takes only 30-40 minutes but this version will not play on my DVD player. Anybody out there have an idea what I can do to make the process more efficient? Different software or different method? I appreciate your insight. By the way, I am running Mac OX X 10.5.5.

The Han and Cinema I am working on a paper on the Korean concept of Han and how Han is communicated directly or through the use of trope in film and television. Of particular interest are films and television from East Asia, those which feature East Asian actors, and those which are set in East Asia. The definition I am seeking to support or reject is the idea of Han as: The pain of victims that has festered in their hearts for a long time. My ideas thus far: The West Wing (2003) Episode 504 - entitled Han. The Good Earth (1937) In addition to the plot of the film of interest is the fact Anna May Wong was passed over for the role of O-Lan and the pain and woundedness and the sense of "Han" she experienced. M*A*S*H (1972-1983) set in Korea but not focused on Korea. The Korean people are merely a silent witness in the series, they have no voice. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.
