For years I've been using Homesite on a PC, which was a great text editor. Now I've switched to Mac and all the text editors I find pale in comparison, despite the fact that Homesite hasn't been updated in years. Help me find one that I'll like. [more inside]

I'm trying to use Regular Expressions in Textmate to do a Find/Replace. The goal: Find id="1", id="2", id="3", etc. and Replace with a value of +14, so that I replace yields id="15", id="16", id="17" etc. Thank you! [more inside]

Is the Mac Heist bundle worthwhile? I'd really like to get TextMate but they're still short $37,000 and I'd hate to pay $49 for everything but the product I want most. Is there any speculation of whether they might just throw it in after all?
