I may have to take a pre-employment drug test very soon, and I'm worried about whether the totally legal and authorized stimulants I'm taking are going to keep me from getting hired. Are my worries reasonable, and if so is there anything I should do to protect myself?

I want to test the silver content of some items. What should I buy? I see people offering silver testing kits on Ebay. Are these a good choice, or would I better off buying the reagents themselves? If so, which ones?

Do you think that I will pop positive for my neighbor's party and do you have any suggestions that would help me with this possibility? I can tell them about my neighbors but will that be enough? I really want this job and would be totally mad if their party kept me from getting back to being paid what I used to make

A while back someone ran a personality test called
The Cube on me. I've also played a similar game whereby each participant in turn says "I have
never done
[name of activity x goes here]" and the others around the table have to drink if they
have done
x. Can you recommend any other fun games, personality tests or quizzes that can be used in social situations, can be easily memorised, don't require much in the way of additional materials and help you get to know others better? School-age, juvenile stuff is perfectly acceptable!

Anyone taken the GRE computer based General Test? I am computer literate, however having never taken a test on a computer I am kind of freaked out just by the sound of it. Will there still be paper for me to write problems out on? Can I skip a question and come back to it? Has anyone taken the paper based test and the computer base test? If so how do they compare?

As an inveterate L.A. bike commuter (not to mention recently losing a close family member to cancer),
this article made me wonder what sort of tests I should be having to measure the impact of particulate air pollution on my body. Recommendations? And how often? (I'm biking 30 miles a day in rush-hour traffic, year-round.)

In NYC: routine HIV testing that is anonymous (not "confidential"), uses saliva or a fingertip-prick (not a blood draw from the arm), and is free or very cheap -- those three things are musts -- that is in or close to the 5 boroughs? I don't need fast results; just looking for my usual periodic tests. This was easy and free in my former (smaller) city; am I just missing something in NYC?

I am taking the Praxix II - Elementary Education (0014) this Saturday. Needless to say, I'm a bit behind in studying. The good news is that I am on vacation this week and have some time to dedicate to the cause. Also, I took my Praxis I in November and scored very well, I am looking for guidance on how to study for the inevitable history, science and theory questions that I have not thought about in the 13 years since I graduated college. I did purchase the
REA book, have completed 2 practice tests and am copying the answers I got wrong onto notecards. Does it sound like I am on the right track?
