Can I get a prescription from my doctor for a urine drug test? I quit smoking marijuana ~25 days ago. Before quitting I smoked once or twice everyday. I ordered some dipstick drug test off the internet and started testing my urine after 5 days of not smoking. About 7 days ago the tests started coming up negative. I'd like to get this confirmed by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry. Can I ask my primary care physician for a prescription for one? If I do, will he get the results and report them to my insurance company?

What's the best way to have a document turned into a fill-in-the-blanks quiz? In other words, I'm looking for a program that will remove key words from a document for the purpose of memorization. Ideally, it would avoid filler words like "and," "of," or "for," etc.

I have an upcoming job interview for a fairly sales-oriented position in business. Putting aside that I'm not sure I want the position yet and that in my eyes it counts against the company that they put stock in this sort of thing, the company is about to send me a personality test which they use as a strong hiring indicator. I would prefer to ace the test, whatever that means, and have my actual interview and position discussion determine hiring. How should I go about answering a test that I don't believe will be reflective of my personality?

I am asking on behalf of a friend. She is looking for a GMAT tutor in SF, ideally who has access to a large library of computer exams in order to practice that format (my friend has struggled with the nature of the exam...she really wishes she could directly mark up the questions!). She has done well on standardized testing in the past (ie the SATs) and currently is an SAT math tutor so she definitely has a good foundation, but she needs someone who can help her with her verbal side (this is where she really struggles with the all-computer format), as well as pacing in general.
She really appreciates your recommendations, thank you. She is willing to pay for quality. Word of mouth is so much better than Google!

My father (65yo) has a small business teaching English as a foreign language to adults. He doesn't teach from scratch, but rather teaches those who already have a basic understanding of English. To do this, he asks all who apply to first complete a 2-page basic language assessment. He has recently created a website, and would like to be able to include the assessment online, preferably embedded on the website, or as a link to an assessment site.
What software or site would
easily help him do this?

I know that American employers conduct urine drug tests all the time, but what about Australian employers? I was recently offered a bank job in Sydney, and will have to undergo a "medical examination" before starting. The information sheet says nothing about drugs, but does mention a urine test. Will they test for cannabis, and if so, should a month (after pretty much semi-daily use) be long enough to be in the clear?

For the California folks:
I go to school out of state, and I accidentally let my vehicle registration expire. I'm trying to figure out how I can get it done quickly and remotely. My primary concern is the smog test - I'm due for one this year. Searching the internet has given me mixed responses, with some saying you have to go back to CA to get smog tests, and others saying you can waive it in absentia. I need to drive as soon as possible, so I'd really appreciate a prompt response!
Thanks!

My wife and I had injections for a TB test on Monday morning (we're adopting our second child and had to get the test). We had to come in Wednesday morning at 9:45 to see if the injection caused any problems. The NP told us everything was fine and we were TB negative.
It's several days later now - Thursday evening - and I'm fine, but my wife has enormous bumps/hives right at the injection site on her arm.
I'm assuming the TB test shot is some kind of totally inert drug so you can't actually get sick from it. Why would a disease that we were supposedly negative for cause hives? Is she allergic to something else? Help! Should we just go to the DR now? The hives are pretty weird.
Neither of us has any food allergies of any kinds.

When I used to do testing for the State Employment service we had what we called a general "interests inventory" test ("Would you rather collect butterflies or draw a picture of a building?") We would give it to young people to help determine what areas of work they might like to pursue.
Is there a current, free online test like that?
My nephew wants to try to begin to set his son on a career path (freshman in high school) but the young man doesn't seem interested in anything special.
Thanks.
