I purchased a template that adapts to the device it is being viewed on. It works as it should on all devices I've tested it on except that when viewed on an iPad - specifically in portrait - the top menu disappears. When viewed in landscape, it is fine. Assuming a level of graphics competence at "low, but very willing to learn", what's the easiest method of creating inserts for audio cassettes? Level of quality around "punk/hardcore/straight edge" on the sliding scale. Preference slightly skewed to a 4 or 5 panel card, tools available are MS Office products, Photoshop Elements and of course GIMP. Access to printers and copiers, willing to lay out double digits for a tool, click-and-drag type template, or assistance. Thoughts/advice/help?
My staff use a number of Word 2010 templates that I need to restrict the editing of. I want users to be able to double click on the file and be able to make any changes they need (not just adding text to fields), but opening via right-click-open would require a password to save changes to the original template. Came across a site a few weeks ago, can't find it now. Basically it allowed you to drop portfolio images into photos/realistic mockups of Macs and iPhones, etc and automatically distorted them to the proper angles. I know this description is weak, but I can't for the life of me find this site. I want to make a 70-100 page report look as sleek and professional as possible. It includes text, references, figures, and photos, as well as "call-out boxes" of various sizes (100-500 words, plus 1-2 figures/photos) that need to be set apart from the text in a non-ugly way. Almost like a high school science textbook. I know there are a ton of Word "report templates" online, but I haven't found any that handle this many types of content, and I don't know if Word is really the way to go here. What *is* the way to go? Is there an easily learned, cheap software you would recommend for this?

I cannot figure out why printing recipe cards is so hard? I purchased the Avery 8386. to print 4x6 recipes for my box. Online, I found a random template for 4x6 recipe cards( I could not find any cool ones). Then I go and copy my recipe and go to paste it on the template and it doesn't paste *INTO* the template (on the lines would be my first choice), it pastes outside the boarders of the recipe card template. I'm hoping to create my new recipe box and print the recipes I use online right onto the cute card but maybe it is too perfect and easy. It is hilarious how difficult something so easy can be! Maybe I'm missing something super obvious but I have asked a bunch of people and....here I am! Help !
