flashfilter: Good Flash Website Templates - I'm technically capable but we need something quickly and don't have much money. We have access to Flash CS3 pro, Flex Builder 3, etc. I can get around in CS3 and can handle ActionScript. I, however, have no design skills at all. We already have artwork, logos, and a color scheme. Is there anywhere I can get free/cheap pre-built flash website templates that don't suck? Doing a few Google searches come up with a bunch of hokey template sites which all seem to share the same bunch of lousy templates.

My boss, the professor, has accepted the challenge of starting a new electronic academic journal to be self-published by the professional organisation that she currently heads. She is, understandably, very busy, so she has asked me to find out everything we need to do to make this happen, with, of course, a limited budget. [more inside]

Is it possible on Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, or something else? Please help! [more inside]

What HTML code do I need to add to my Blogger blog template to automatically underline all the links I make in a blog posting? I can get the links to show up in the correct colour, but that colour is quite close to black, so I'd like the text to be highlighted another way, one that is expected when linking. I do not want to change the colours. I'm pretty thick when it comes to HTML, so I'd really appreciate it if you were quite explicit when saying where it has to be. The blog is linked to in my profile, if you need to see the page source.

I just started a new position in my company as the IT Support guy. One of the projects we are working on, is getting away from people submitting paper tech requests, and to using a outlook template that everyone can just pop open to email us a standard request. We have the form working the way we want. It automatically emails my boss and I with the information they fill out, but when I fill out what I did to fix it, and try to forward it or reply to it so my boss has a record of me completing the task, it completely borks the formatting. So I'm template hacking my Blogger account and I've got a problem. The template tag that actually contains the body of my posts (< $blogitembody$>) forces a break both before and after it (Blogger template tags defined here). Thus, I can't format my posts so that I have both the contents of my post and the perm link on the same line (just like Kottke has done here). I have removed all the formatting html and CSS in my template and, no matter what I do, the forced break won't go away? Any hacks or work around ideas?

HTML/CSS: Damn it Jim! I'm an architect of buildings, not of the web! I've been working on the web site for our chapter of the AIA in Europe. I've been trying to learn as much as I can about HTML and CSS -- looking, reading, trial and error. Our new site is coming along but I have one vexing problem.
