My niece, a 15-year-old who'll be on her first trip outside the US, is visiting us in London in mid June. My wife and I will have lots of time to spend with her doing tourist things as well as just hanging out, and her grandparents will also be here for part of the time, but she'll be on her own for portions of a few days. Although a bit shy, she's expressed interest in doing something cool and interesting with that time that would allow her to be around other teenagers. [more inside]

My 15 year old daughter is in an economics course this semester and loves it. I'm looking for ideas to help her learn even more. I've tried many ways to give her a leg oupon money matters and she's resisted strongly until now. I'm looking for books, clubs, activities, websites, podcasts, movies, methods in practice, you name it (including specific actions I can take) that will help her learn to manage money and get a grasp on investing all while doing the very things she loves so that she sees that money is not the end-all-be-all. What have you or others you know done to help teens learn about money and put those principles into action?
I am a bisexual guy at a religious high school in Atlanta, GA and, while there isn't much homo-hostility, the majority of my classmates are uncomfortable with homosexuality. (And that's including the gay ones.) I'd like to meet interesting people outside of my school, but I haven't the first clue how to start. How is a bi high school guy supposed to meet like-minded individuals outside of school?
