Mindfulness meditation has had a profound impact on my life and I'd like to be able to teach it to other people. I'm not looking for it to become anything like a career path, but I'd like to feel more confident about it when I am introducing it to somebody new. How can I do this? I'm looking for recommendations on courses (either online or located in the LA area) or reading material, ideally on the less expensive end.
I'm putting together a 1 hour training for new teachers who have little understanding of disabilities and how they affect teens in the classroom. Although I do annual presentations about this, I'd love to mix it up, make it more hands-on and understandable. [more inside]

What are some yoga training programs or traditions that might be compatible with the Bikram yoga teacher training I've already done? I'd like to be able to teach classes beyond the 26-postures-2-breathing-exercises, and I'd also like to be able to teach a style of yoga that isn't as highly regulated in terms of restricting where/what you can teach.
