Late night takeout food in Vancouver

I'm looking for mefi's recommendations for late night take-out, fast food or quick ethnic food in Vancouver BC. Here's the background to my request: To get back into proper summer cycling shape before June, I'm trying to do 35 to 50 km on the road bike every day, at a relatively fast pace. I usually go out for a few hours of riding any time between 9:00 PM and 12:30AM each day.

On my way back home after riding I'm usually very hungry and would like to be able to pick up some takeout, to either sit and eat by the seawall or to take home and eat.

I'd like to hear mefi's recommendations on Vancouver late night food that is both filling, tasty, not too expensive, and fast. For example, the famous House of Dosas on Kingsway, or something like that. I am not frequently in the area of Marine Drive/South Vancouver, so even if there's some wonderful food down there, I might not go for it. Recommendations on anything north of 49th would be great. I also ride out to Burnaby so if there's any wonderful late night ethnic on/near Hastings in Burnaby (east of the #1), suggestions for that would also be welcome.

Healthy delivery food in Boston.

I'm trying to figure out the healthiest carryout/delivery meals I can get for under $25. The catch is that I don't like salads very much, and prefer my vegetables to be chopped finely/covered in sauce/combined with other things. (See my username)

I'm in Boston, but I'm also open to general suggestions of what sort of restaurants/items are more likely to be healthy options. These are meals for when I am working late at my job and am able to bill the meal to the client, so there is no direct advantage to cheaper options, but because I am ordering only when really busy and working late I don't have time for something that would take a lot of prep or time. If there was something quick to prepare from a grocery store with a toaster over and a foreman grill I could do that.

Where can I get good, simple, non-chewy takeout soup in downtown Montreal? I've just had a root canal and can't chew. Husband has colitis and avoids solids on bad days. We both work in the heart of downtown Montreal, and want some lovely, nourishing, brothy-not-chewy soup for lunch, preferably takeout.

Any ideas? Lordy but I am HUNGRY!

How can I improve my (East Coast) Chinese take-out?

How can I improve my (East Coast) Chinese take-out? Chinese to-go is good, but I want to make it great. Really good Chinese restaurants are too expensive, and my wokking skills are still ...progressing. As a novice cook, how can I make common take-out menu recipes better? Noodles, platters, dumplings - all of it. Does everyone out there just eat it out of the box? Or do you give it a little extra before it goes in your mouth? Soy/duck sauce packets don't count; I'm abusing those already.

Because nobody likes airplane food

What is the ideal food to welcome someone home with after a long flight, keeping potential delays and an long commute from the airport in mind?

Bonus points for late-night Boston/Cambridge delivery recommendations! I'd love to have a super tasty meal waiting when my boyfriend gets back from Europe in a few days, but besides stew, does anything still taste good after sitting for several hours? Without a car, picking him up will take me at least a couple of hours round trip, so while I like cooking, I'd rather not have to, given all the time and stress unknowns.

He's expressed a strong interest in almost any manner of Asian food, so while I'd be more than happy to just pick up some Chinese or Thai, I'm worried that a late arrival on a Sunday night will seriously limit our options. He really does not want pizza, and eating at the airport seems...non-ideal. I thought about stashing some sushi in the fridge, but that seemed iffy with the timing. Are there any take-out/delivery options that lend themselves especially well to reheating/eating cold? We're near Harvard Square, if that helps any.

Feed us in Frederick

Seeking great food in Frederick, MD area! We're looking for one or two tasty places to 'cater' (i.e., takeout) our small, laid back rehearsal dinner north of Frederick. Preferably casual food with a regional flavor. The internets are not offering up a lot--can you help? Our ideal menu would have (inexpensive) regional food, like crab or Maryland fried chicken, but we're open to other ideas, and we're not scared by hole-in-the-wall restaurants. The dinner itself won't be onsite--we're doing it at a cabin in Thurmont--so the space isn't an issue either.

We live an hour south of Frederick, so we can happily go taste-test any suggestions. Doc Geiser's? Rubes Crab Shack?

Good take-out/delivery in Chicago?

Good Chicago take-out/delivery (particularly near the west loop)? We recently moved to Chicago and live in the west loop. There's a lot of good restaurants near us on Randolph, but we've been unsuccessful in finding good standard delivery food -- particularly Thai and Chinese, but other things would also be good. What are the good take-out/delivery places near us?

Takeout Delivery in Vegas

Vegas Filter - Opinions on take out delivery services in Las Vegas. A group of us in the Northeast need to help out a friend who lives in Vegas, and we thought a gift certificate to a restaurant delivery service would be an excellent choice - The two big ones I'm familiar with, Dining In and Takeout Taxi, aren't active in that area. I Googled and found On the Run and I was hoping anyone that's used them could comment on their experiences - Is it a worthwhile gift? Bonus points if any Vegas MeFites have any other leads or suggestions for something similar - Thanks!
